Traveler
Passing through this illusion of reality
Far beyond the perception of logic and past
The barrier that limits knowing
I can see my quantum soul
Here the emptiness is no longer empty
The nothingness is actually something-ness
Here the building blocks of objectivity
Spring forth from subjectivity, holding no conclusion
Just endless whole parts expanding eternally!
God is a never-ending creation...
Maybe We Should*

Maybe we should stop and think
Of the things we do each day
Give ourselves room to grow
Learn to change our ways

Maybe we should hear ourselves
When we speak words of faith
Not be quick to judge someone
For the path that they must take

Maybe we should see some things
In a new and different light
First walk a mile in someones shoes
To know what it is like

Maybe we should just try more
To live a better life
Make the world a better place
And leave the hate behind

Maybe we should

Blair
They float, slowly
Cascading down
Sifting through the air
Swaying back and forth
When I reach up to touch them,
They move ever so slightly
Away from my grasp
Avoiding my touch
They want to stay
But remain far enough away

Miranda
I close my eyes,
Searching for that feeling
I know it's there
Because I can sense it.
My brain is straining.
My heart is breaking.
Both trying so hard
To grab something familiar;
Something safe.
But what was once warm,
Turned icy cold.
Just like your heart
When you left.
Days and nights are blending
into sunsets and dawns
life's not about life anymore
(at least not to us pawns)
Is there an understanding
we've forgotten to seek?
A connection within ourselves
waking from our sleep

We've programmed our defenses
to react -- to attack
to believe blindly in a cause
we sacrifice to defend
Where is our compassion
for the leniency of truth?
When knowledge never ends...
can a belief be complete?
And, can perfection exist
without the search for clarity?

Run away
Free yourself
Find a new you
Enjoy it
Hold on to it
Don't let no one disturb it
Love it
Cherish it
Don't run away from it
Anything is foreva , you just can't give up on it.

r
home in the mirror
appearing nearer

but i'm not driving
or even trying
to turn around

i'm burning down

bridges behind me
all I can see

over my shoulder
looking for closure

the colder and closer
i get to the sea.
