How do you greet a stranger,
With a simple hello
or with a loving hug

How do you treat a former friend,
Bringing up ancient memories
or creating new ones

Well
It's been a while

How's Everything been?
Are things better now
or are you still struggling?

How do you say your farewell
With a simple goodbye
or with a light kiss and teary Eyes

I hope you are okay
or at least that you are still hoping
For that happy ending

Well
it's been a while

I'm still here
I still Believe in you
I hope you do too
Dreams that leave you hanging from the
opera in your mind and the
orchestra keeps bangin' on and still
you feel that hangin' on
is the only thing to do.

I don't mind that dreams don't find their end in me,
I can shift the light around until the night can't see
where I am hangin'

The opera's another can of worms
storms in B cups
bombing tea cups,
do your dreams make you squirm?

Flight or do you fight?
I fancy flight, but
I'll take the biggest bite of you
and chew and chew, do you
like music in the raw?

Something more
or something that the lady wore?

Dreams that leave you hangin'
Do you see me
like I see you.

Do you feel me
like I feel you.

Do you see
that I'm beautiful
because of you.
TKO
I used to think I was broken,
I now know for sure that I am.
There’s not a power on earth to fix me.
Nobody gives a good God-****.
Around me is always darkness and I’m too far gone to fight.

I see nothing out there resembling hope,
No prayer, no words and no light.
The candle burned down and left naught but wick.
All I see is bridge, bottle or rope.
I hope there's someone looking out for me, because,
I’m too far gone to fight.
;
Sweet lullaby take me away
Cuddle me in you arms
Help me find peace one more day.
Roses red

Flowers fade

Words you said

Promises made

All these lines

Not a thing to you

Violet times

Never seen so blue.
The Open Shore

You are the open shore
Of my heart
Everyday I walk you,
Barefeet stride the pulsating sand
Golden, I warm in your brilliance
Overhead, your illumination
looking down on me

Gentle winds on my smile
My Eyes See You across the waves
Rising, falling, changing,
Bluewhite depths a devotion
Sweeping away all the times I worry
How deep sometimes I wish
To melt into moments like these
Clarity, sparkling rarity

There is no beginning, no end
To our love
Only and always this moment,
Ours,
The years, the lives we will
Tide and recede together
Sky of bleeding red
Lift not one soul today
Let rain come dripping
Drops along a canvas unscathed
Seeking creation along paper terrain

Yellow sun glides along
Causing streaks of hope yet found
Still inside the dry paint sits a comglomeration of an artist's palate
Seeking new ways to finger paint a story
Yet too sureal to let the imagination roam

An unusual free reign to feel insane
To smell the blue of rain
To hold the golden grain
To end the familiar pain
Black streaks daily

Maybe....

We all have a hidden palate
Born by given talent
Tucked away in the cracks of self doubt
Building towers of color
In a great amount
But sown into the cloth of everyday wear

One day our hands will shed different colors
Will spread along each line
Cascading down like waterfalls in the mist
We will hand print our worlds
And become a new picture
In a world full of torn pages

It was such a sudden shift;
laughter and joy and noise and love
abruptly cut off
and the silence of peace deafened me.
