Wanted Bliss
Sometimes it feels,
As if you choke me.
Telling me to do as I should,
But limiting the thoughts I get out of my head.

I wanted this,
Bliss.

For Home
This one is for the ones we miss,
Sweet memory's translucent kiss.
For the boys and girls back home,
Friendly faces I know.
This one's for the things we never said,
For the ones we wish we did.
Who lurks in dark?
Those corners of life,
Where nothing shines through.
Somebody waiting,
For a door to open,
For a sliver of light to peek through.
Enough for them to spread their wings,
Knowing somebody will see.

Aching In It
Sometimes when comes sunrise,
I ache like I died.

Something like being stabbed in the heart,
14,967 times with a real dull knife,
Maybe that's what they mean,
When they say love is full of strife.

I need her more than life,
Somedays I let myself die.
The struggle of being too human,
Caring for someone else too much,
But not feeling that it's too much.
Even though they say,
You should play Google snake,
Instead of walking me places.
Something in me breaks away,
When you say,
"It's fine,"
Instead of,
"It's okay."
Not from how it sounds,
At least,
It wasn't.
But you told me long ago,
"When I say it's fine,
It's not."
So are we playing games,
Are we chasing wild geese,
I beg you to communicate,
Yet you say,
"Read my mind."
I can't, not the way you want me too,
I love you, I need to,
More than anything.
So are we,
fine.
Or are we,
Okay

Use Me
I drink in manipulation,
My soul bathes in it.

I love it like water,
Need it to breathe.

So keep it coming,
Keep on using me.

I'll never say goodbye,
Until I die.
Never love an artist,
They don't have beauty left to give you.

You love me,
I try to give you all my beauty,
Though it curdles, turning into a night we regret.

Leaving you upset.

Go There
The Outlet May 29
The words flow best,
In the places you won't go.
Each dip in the brain,
Places in your mind where it rains.

I can't fault you,
These things bring great pain.
But if you wish to make music,
Which I know you do,
You need to.

Yet, I Walk
The Outlet May 29
I try to walk the Earth,
Yet, I'm impeded.
The planet's rotation,
Keeps me pacing.
Each good memory keeps on replacing,
With something worse,
Plus a better, yet, imagined one.

Without Magic
The Outlet May 28
Pity me,
Pity me not.
A simple game,
Is all I've got.

Will you find woe in my struggle?
Or is everything I juggle,
Part of normal life for a muggle.

Where's the magic I've heard of,
Silent midnights full of love,
A siren's seductive song.

Searching for it,
I end up crashing,
Shored upon the rocks.

Between
The Outlet May 28
Something lives,
Between the first 'Good Morning.'
And the last 'Gn.'

What lived was love,
So proud to have it.

What Is Dreaming
The Outlet May 28
What is dreaming,
If not sweet release?
A reminder of where you're safe,
Your fears, far away.

What is dreaming,
If not reminding me,
My thoughts are impure.

The Avian
The Outlet May 28
To love is human,
To be loved is a human need,

But the same is true,
For being free.
I long to fly out of this cage,
But I will clip my wings each day.

Each feather falling,
Is one step closer to you,

Every feather drifting away,
Is a single piece of my heart.

I must fly free,
Amongst my avian creed.
