I can feel my heart beating
I am ready for it to stop
But there's a feeling inside
Telling me just wait, I'm not done

This feeling is life, in of itself
Why do I live? For who?
If a dew drop were to fall
The other droplets would droop
But only for a moment
Then go back to normal, as if none the less

If a leaf is meant to eventually fall
It's journey meaningless
Why should I grow
I wrote this before I had meaningful people in my life. Now that I have some I was able to write an after that will come later.
Absolute self confidence
Or nights full of doubt.
An arrogant fool
Between concern and an inflated ego
Between days full of tears in the shower
And partys to dance with anyone.
I wish I could somewhere and somehow
Find myself.
I'm still searching //
I hope the language is ok, message me if not.

There's more to this little brown bottle than the sunshine within,
and if you search across the hills of Kalamazoo
you'll find the meaning of gold.

Cheers to this:
the smell of barbecue and grass
and the taste of oranges drenched in ale
and sunlight.
As the fire crackles
and the flames move like the flags we claim,
I can hear each individual string
on a friend's guitar
as they tell a story of an everlasting summer.

When it's cold
the sun smiles and burns
as the sound of cannonballs piercing aqua blue waves
washes through your body
clad in pink
skin,
and fabrics
seen from many
and any
wandering eye.
As the hi-hat sizzles,
so too does your soul,
and that's why you can't help but
dance dance dance.

But just like any season,
this friendly brown bottle
is a moment in time.
Winter must come,
people must go,
but somewhere in the recipe for your favorite drink
are all of their names
glistening in gold.
From Kalamazoo, with love.

if i were a little taller
maybe i could be big enough to be your sun
if i grew a few inches overnight
i would be able to fix that broken light
i could talk to people without
hurting the back of my neck
i could reach that blue canvas above
i could see the city
the endless stretch of a green scenery
in all of it's light and glory
maybe if i were a few inches taller,
i could strut that outfit
without looking like a
child straight out of the 90s
i could run faster
towards that goal
i could dream higher
i could finally stand out
you could spot me in that picture
with the face i drew earlier

but i guess
i'll just be down here forever
that girl who was nothing more
than a person below your elbow
somtimes i walk alone
and i feel like the world is drowning me
although i see the sky
and it keeps on screaming
"this is vast"
"this is yours"
"the world is yours"
but i cant always feel that way
i cant feel among you
when your arm is resting
on my shoulder
it pushes me further
into the ground that holds
all of the demons that'll tell me
that im not good enough for this world

i am not a barricade
i am not a post
i am not a doll
i am not an object
i want to see what's in front of you
i want to be seen
but i guess
i'll just have to accept
that this will all i will ever be.

Like ashes from a burning sea
Her sandy beaches lay
Shored upon the land it coats
From forceful ocean wave

And as the tide draw up at dusk
The beach is coaxed within
Until tomorrow she must hide
Til tide retreats again
