Ask each and every man, and many will say,
they've seen the light of gods to whom they pray,
But are the gods a projection of fears?
Or is my vision blurred by my own tears?
Minds will clash as our ideas collide,
But only in death does the truth reside,
I'll wait for the day when clouds clear from the sky above,
And men can swallow their pride and learn to love
How dare you look into my eyes
and talk about her.
The one who took you from me.

How dare you talk to me
about your heartache
when you are the one who caused mine.
Its a really horrible thing to experience.
Put me in darkness.
Put me in cold.
Mind melts from madness.
Leaving me sold.

Take away the crazy.
Take away the light.
Eyes strain from image.
Leaves me to fright.

Grip my reality.
Gripping my mind.
Out of the cesspool.
Nothing left behind.

Diving down further.
Diving down deep.
Under the covers.
Put me to sleep.
Few things touch a poet more than the pure beauty of a smile newly in love,

Or the tremendous pain seen in the tear filled eyes of a heart recently broken.

I can no longer see one without recalling the other,
And in that I find my poetic doom.
Hands where
They are not welcome
Against flesh too young
And too willing to please
Pushing to break the last barrier
That separates
Innocence
From exploitation
Lips parting what should be closed
Taking what is not theirs
And can never be given back
A body demands
As the other yields
Bending to its will
And calling it "love"

If I ever think I am not loved or just felt worthless,
all I have to do is think of
someone - a friend or family
who truly cares, and then everything
   comes in perspective.

You know sometimes I feel like nobody cares for me, so that's why I penned this piece, not only to remind myself that there will always be someone who cares for you, also for my readers to remind themselves that you are not alone & also we are all worthy of this life...

it was an excerpt of my piece "if ever": http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/willyampax/1394533/
