Today she said
To herself

'I love you'

And broke in tears
She has been shamed
Without knowing
Lived in fears
Not realizing
Fear and shame
Has been eating her up
From inside
Forever
Without her
Having a name
For those deep pains

But in these days
After writing poems
And  dreaming awake
And feeling things
Not felt before
She now sees
With clear mind
What hurts
And why
And that she could
In fact she should
Have a better life
In which she strives
To explore the land
She call home

Herself...

And rebuild it
With beautiful words
Only poets can create...
About the healing power of poetry; to whom it may concern...

Traveler
Your Earthly
Myths and fears
Fall *******
Traveler's ears
(Yes there's many of us)
You bound yourselves
To earth
Where your
Superstition has giving birth
But if you truly seek
The real deal
Fear not to breach
A greater free will
Come with us
To another dimension
Where being of light
Need no inventions
Be a master, not a slave
We were never created
To be trapped in a maze!

"Cné"
Desperately
I long to go
Where creativity flows
No fear of the unknown
Or of some maze that is shown
By light, warm and unburning
Star littered night skies
Observing
hair blowing in the wind
Bright eyes shining with a glint
Unbound by time or place
Before the lost of innocence, faced
I'll give my hand, in trust
to another dimension, or bust...

"Temporal Fugue"
Through the mirror
Traveling the unknown maze
Gazing on, site's unseen
And setting them, ablaze
Through the universe
Pausing to explore
Perusing the next, traverse
And wanting, so much more
Masters of discovery
Trust, holding out her hand
Knowing forever and a day
Just a woman, just a man.

(Was that a yes or no?)
Traveler Tim
Along this path
she's had to greet

angels and demons,
truths and lies,
all of which mirror
the Self she's disguised.

Yet she battles,
ferocious
to conquer her path;

she is alchemy,
warrior,
the fire to your match.

There’s just one moon for you
But countless stars to shine on you
The heavens they will dance for you
And the sun will rise and set for you

The wind will blow so strong for you
The tide will ebb and flow for you
The skies will turn to blue for you
And birds will sing a song for you

The fog will lift its veil for you
The sands of time will flow for you
The leaves will grow and fall for you
And I will live and die for you

What is success? To some it's a desire to be the best of the best
To some they just want to be better than the rest, but it's hard to be average when you can't pass their test.
In my mind, an ongoing strife, knowing I've been a failure my whole life.
That's why I write poetry, shows I've got passion, knowing with insight, there's no need to ration.
I may not be smart and I **** at biology, but using my mind and the aid of technology, I can share with the world and now that you know it,
It's time that I share with you the birth of a poet...

Friends,
They are my family that is not blood.
Every time I make a new friend,
I get a new family member.
This makes me feel happy.

But, it goes the other way as well.

When a friend is forgotten or left,
I lose a family member.
This hurts me with a dark sadness.

But new friends are good,
They help me grow as a person,
Help me learn more about the world.

I get to make friends that are on the other side of the world,
Where it's lucky that he can speak English,
Since I can't speak an ounce of what he's saying.
But despite the distance of 5,264 miles,
We somehow became friends.
And in my book, family as well

I'll do anything to protect and serve my family,
Blood or not, they are one giant family to me.
And they all make me happy.
My friends are my Family, no matter who they are.

I've forgotten the last time I had to memorize
oh wait, it was today.
I memorized so I didn't have to plagiarize
and I plagiarized because I had no idea what to say.

instead of studying, I was out at play
breaking ankles instead of pencil tips.
made some gnarly 3 pointers, I might say,
all I could think about were my papercut lips.

the keyboard fights me with whips
I'm trying, I am really trying,
but I'm collapsing, like sunken battleships.
Well, at least I'm not dying.
written before finals crushed my pencils
