The Streets are filled with Pilgrims.
Night and Day….
Near the Tombs…
Some stand Silently.
Some profusely cry.

Outside is another world
Orphans and Widows Beg Everyday.
Cant forget that 4 Year Old Girl
Wearing a Pink Frock.
Came to me and just cried.
All I could hear was only one word.
“ Miskeen “ - Poor.  Help Me Sir.
She was an angel for sure.

I gave whatever  I had that day.
But could never forget that face.

I wonder how many angels are there
Who keep on Begging Every Day.

This is only one girl in one place.  
Imagine how many more are there all over the world.
Maybe Thousands or Millions for sure.

We are fortunate to lead a good life and yet complain.
While those little boys and girls beg everyday
Everyday and Everywhere.

Every day and Every Where. …

Some see the Stars.
Some see the Moon.
Some see the Sun.
Some see others.
And Some See themselves.

Sun rises to bless you with a new hope;
And moon smiles at you
To let you know that darkness isn't always a woe.
Stars dazzle to make you assure ;
that you still glow in someone's heart.

Clouds gives a huge whisper to make
you understand that not everything has a dirt.
And Every star houses a secret ,
a whispered wish from far below .
And all those hopes and dreams
are what causes them to glow .

So when you're in the darkness
and you gaze into the black,
do not fear the emptiness,
nor the shadows at your back.

Here I am, sitting on pens and needles
pain is my companion.

I wasn't born a renegade, or a knight
in shining armor but I was born a fighter.

All these years have passed behind me,
I am turning fourty two soon
as I keep walking forward
looking behind me.

My footprints are a reminder
how far I've gone and the farther
I plan to go.

My memories follow into
the shallow waters of my life.

I keep going forward watching the
sun rise and fall, while the moon
peeks for a better view.

Sometimes I dip into the deeper parts
of myself, I tug on the possibilities of
my creativity and I write what I see.

I feel like I am falling but in reality
I am sitting still.

Anxiety is a struggle but here I am free
as I release my stress through poetry.
