A dog chases its tail
as the sun sets to the west

A man rakes fallen leaves
as the light fades into darkness

Children jump rope on cobblestone streets
their laughter fills the air

An old woman peers out a window
while memories dance in her head

Days turn into night

And sometimes I swear to god he’s listening at the same time
And we’re speaking for the first time since I was a child
He hands me a beer and tells me that he loves the sound of this mans voice
And I tell him that I don’t even remember what his sounds like

Oh , what a dangerous kind of freedom....to not be into anyone other than YOU, must be so addictive and exhilarating.
