A Billion Stories
Book I: The Wreckage
Part I: Demolition

Look at the wave,
I cannot breathe,
A maple in the forest.
A timer ticks infinitely,
A globe that couldn't save its face.
I gaze across the evergreens,
Each had its own life story.
They fell along the battlefront
And lost their lives and glory.
Each stump was bloodied
And was thrown,
Into a broken honor.
To watch the maple's swaying leaves,
To ponder of its journey.

Traveling a rocky shore,
In spite of waves that threaten.

Carried deep into the sea,
Into a lapse of memory.

As darkness pulls my very soul
The deep can't slay my fate.
Lost in all its meaning,
While I see my final day.

Awakened by the truth,
As I stare in much confusion.
Struggling to stand,
And to see through blinding light.

Beckoning me onwards even further
through the ocean,
As I struggle in its wake to see the source of mystic beauty.

I follow to the homelands,
Where the birth of man has happened.
Staring in amazement at the sunken ancient islands.
Enlightened in the truth of life,
My travel has been ended.

Lymeria
Part IV

My life is my own,
I can see my own lights.
Why, may I ask,
Do you think you are right?
You know that there's more than one star in the sky.

Why is it then,
Do you think it's alright?

You know there are dangers to doubting,
And you know that your cannot protest!
Is it clear to you that He's almighty?
If it's not,
I will make you repent!

Why cannot you see the one star in the sky?
Why are you so blind from the rest!

Low-Hanging Tree
Part IV

The sun invisible,
Hiding in clouds of blackness.
My footprints unidentified,
Lacking any intactness.
My vision altered by dust,
My body struggling with wind.
My mind circling with ignorance,
My eyes, shadowed, and thin.
