If now is not the time,
When will the time be right?
Why don’t we just make the time right?

We’re here, right now,
Young, dumb and in love,
So timing should not be the gap between the two of us,
Let’s live in the moment,
Right here,
Right now, and cast aside, all doubts,

For if the time is never right,
Let’s take this time for you and I.

Kindness
was a house.

Knitted by
knowing you.

It was made
of sticky notes.

Encouragement
aching for actions.

Friendship
is the fuel.

Hearts only
in its windows.

Looks didn’t
really matter.

A firm foundation
invisible.

Gates of wisdom
walk to it.

Depression
laughed at it.

Gossip galloped
away from it.

The golden rule
knew better.

I don’t know
If I believe in soulmates
Or fate

But if you told me
That something
Or someone
Had planned for us to meet
And made each of us
For the other

My darling I don’t know
If I would be able
To argue

You are
Everything I always dreamed of
And
Everything
I could’ve never imagined

hell is a place where
you constantly love those that
do not love you back.

I’ve chained the beast, but still it breathes,
Its whispers soft, like coals beneath.

In silence, I keep the monster still,
But wonder—does it break my will?
Does peace erode the flame I keep,
Or sharpen it within the deep?

There’s beauty in this quiet war,
A dance with rage I can’t ignore.
And though I lock the beast away,
Its shadow stains the light of day.

And if I can do one thing for the rest
of my life as a human
that would be to hug you.
Till the end.
To hug you with my soul,
with my heart,
with my hands,
with everything that I have.
Be the raindrops that fall from the sky,
That brings peace and tranquility to my mind,
Be the clouds from up above that shade me from the harsh sun,
Associate yourself with the beautiful dew that brings vibrant green to the plants,
Be the calm after the storm that restores peace in my heart and the land,

Smile like the rainbow when the clouds part,
Let in soft rays from the sun as the grey fades,
And most importantly,
Remind me of the rain.

River
New
New
Like the dawn
The glorious sunrise
Pinkish hues awash with silent beiges
And the sun
Is a fiery orb
Coloring life into every living thing

I feel the new
With my breath
In and out
And I think of the ocean
The powerful ocean
I can feel it within my heart,
The waves rumbling through my veins

I can see the new
In not so distant visions
Of a future full of growth
I’ve healed so much
And yet there’s more
More of the new
I open my doors
Let it all in
All the gloriously soothing beauty
Of life’s simplest pleasures
Healing me

There’s been a crack made in my lifelong illusions
I’m beginning to feel clarity, and not confusion
Saying yes yes yes
To more beauty.
