basking in its beauty and light.

But then, ego haunted you,
made you its prisoner.

trapped within its chains.

chasing the wind,
trying to hold in my palm

I loved you once, so far, so deep,
Beyond the stars, where dreams still sleep.
But now I hate with all my might,
Beyond the day, beyond the night.

A dance of hearts, both wild and still,
Beyond my reach, against my will.

I wandered far, searching for you,
Each step left me with scars and pain.
Blisters formed, my tears ran dry,
Until I couldn’t cry again.

My eyes became like desert sand,
Too tired to see, I closed my eyes.
In the darkness, I found a spark,
A light within, to my surprise.

So much love lives deep inside,
But ego holds it back in pride.
A heart that longs to truly feel,
Yet anger keeps its warmth concealed.

But when the fires of rage subside,
Love will rise, no need to hide.
Freed from chains, it takes its flight,
No longer trapped by endless night.

Once lost in ego, now renewed.
