i've
   witness-
   ed the others
   fall over several
sets•leaving you alone
shivering on a spindly twig
•the winds of autumn had whis-
pered their threats...•to sweep you
off your perch into the world so big
•the season had almost gone to make
way for another•answering the sum-
mons of winter's call•had anticipated
the coming of your departure•...i had
sworn to myself to catch you as you'd
fall•for a brief moment, i had turned
away•to tend to commitments that
came with dawn...•i returned to
stay and wait another day...•
but the wind had come
while i was

in school
at home
in slumber
or wake
I fight
for your trust
for love
for friends
like a boxer
in the ring
blows hit me
left and right
never do I
give up hope
I think of you
and swing
for someone who inspires me

Soul

I want to know
does the soul
grow old
and tired
with the body

Because it once was pure
but now it seems
so dark and clouded inside
sad or mad, all is bad
fallen, and I can't stand

Ridiculous obligations
to unknown friends
that **** me dry
like flies do wine
until the glass is empty

I dream of love
I fear it more
I am just terrified
of hearing
"no"
I guess everybody is, right?

I would make SUCH a good criminal. It is a shame I have parents and integrity. Well, some integrity lol. :P
seriously, I am a GOOD liar (which is bad, I know) and I am SO good at plotting some things...

They called him a black hole
A collapsed version of his former self
Exhausting all energy found inside
Absorb nothingness
This is universal rock bottom
Gravity can't grasp this freedom
Releasing all forms of attachment
From here he evaporated
This is everything he has ever known

Imagine her hands on your heart
Tapping Morse code into vertical velvet walls
Hieroglyphs I am still decoding, present

My heart is better known as an island
A place for the shipwrecked
Beautiful in its desperation

Her presence an S.O.S. in sand
I am trying everything I can
To let her save me
