lonely is YOU
when you are not comfortable with yourself
and
the things about you that make people ask questions
that make you question
the very essence
that is YOU.
but
lonely can also
be you accepting YOU because you finally realize
it is ok to be you in your own skin
because
you are enough

When monsters are gnawing
At your heart
It is so easy to surrender
Trust me I've lost that fight
Many times and
Regretted it every time

But it only takes one minute
Of courage
To stand up and fight
Trust me it can be draining
But you'll thank yourself

Eyes are so simple
Yet so mysterious

A quick glance can tell you
What they're conveying
But the longer you look
The more depths
