It was more than love -
A love beyond limits...
They were the first to discover
This newfound emotion,

It wasn't from this world,
It was divine - It must have fallen
From the heavens
When the skies opened;
There must have been
A titanic galactic explosion.

This newfound emotion
Rained down upon them,
That very first night
That their eyes met,
As they both gazed up
To the brilliant pure-white stars,

They were pulled together
By a magnetic energy,
They saw more than love light-up
In each other's eyes -
This was when
Their two worlds collided;
This was when
Venus fell for Mars.

She turns words into
Heartfelt emotions,
She fills your thoughts with
Visions sublime,

She is the kindest soul
One will ever meet,
She shares herself,
With everyone,
One,

Divine,

Flowers will bloom
From within her -
With each new sunrise,

Sunbeams kiss her soul -
Each new day is a blessing,
In her eyes.

Petals delicately dress her heart -
They protect her fragile core,

Precious moments shall elapse -
Her petals will fall -
Protected,
She shall stand
No more.

Exposed and vulnerable,
Her heart,
She will wear
On her sleeve -
The Merciful Lord
Shall leave her never,

New petals,
She prays,
On that day
She shall receive -
Flowers will bloom
From within her -
Forever.

Valsa George
In dazzled astonishment
She looked up from her reverie
As she heard the flap of wings overhead
And saw the flash of laser beams in her dim lit room
Before her, stood a winged seraph
A radiant silhouette with such gentleness and grace
As never beholden on any human face
With its hands raised in benediction,
It saluted Mary and said
“Blessed art thou amongst women…
……………………………………
The rest she heard in a trance.
Unable to comprehend what was said,
The girl looked up nonplussed.
Again it said, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee
And a son shall be born of thee
Whom you shall call Jesus”

In that nanosecond of a new revelation
Did Mary’s world shatter like glassware
Or did her ****** womb thrill with new life
Did she swim in the waters of joyful tidings?
Or gyrate in the sweeping swirl of tidal waves

For the girl already espoused to a man
In whose dreams his comely form had begun
Flitting in and out
Was it a moment of silent ravishment?
Or of stupefied bewilderment
Did a dagger cut through her heart?
Or did her soul take wing in flight???
This is Christmas time. This poem is an exploration of Annunciation by Gabriel to Mary from an average man's perspective.

Her beautiful face was burning,
From your words spat like acid.
Her shape to be reconstructed,
Because you didn't like the way it flared out.

As if she is not allowed to control her destiny,
Because "Being allowed is a privilege."
But her face is melting like a candle,
Wax splattering on the floor.

You tell her not to make such a mess,
As you degrade her down more

This relationship is poisonous,
Flowing through her bloodstream,
That used to be pure and healthy.

Ah, You tell me that you love her,
But this is not love,
When she states her opinion,
And you stop her with a hardened shove.

Her face is still melting!
Can you not see?
That all the things you do,
Just end in catastrophe.

There was a snapping sound from within as every taut string that had been holding my heart for so long flinched away, and the red thing dropped like a stone.

I felt my hands. They were cold and wet. Like a small ocean pebble, I lay there and waited for every shuddering wave to gently wash over, numbing every inch of me that had once felt so warm.
God
Owns our souls
-
All we own,
Are our beliefs.

Some days there is an ache
That ripples through my soul like an echo in an empty cave.
Where it started, I'll never know
But it seems endless on my empty days.
