You look surprised that you were gorged
By that little beast, that *****
All along you knew she was a *****
Hell, on her back it's plainly stamped

So now your stuck upon her horns
In her clutches of sharpened thorns
As piece by piece, she'll take you apart
You'll know when she's done, you'll be missing your heart

You put physically beauty, before the beauty in the heart
So you got exactly what you sought

I watch and I snicker
Because your cranium was thicker
Than the words that I said
Not a syllable reached a brain cell in that head

I don't feel a twinge of guilt
You can live in what you built
I'll watch it crumble down
With a smile on my lips, as you are forced to wear that crown
Rewritten  to make it flow better.

Drown my screams out with your chatter
I'm unseen, I don't matter
Please don't give me another thought
In the grip of nothingness I was caught
Day by day I slowly slipped away
As I slowly faded to gray
You never noticed, you never knew
Noting in your life was askew
Once upon a time I use to cross your mind
The best erasing is done by time
Now I'm but a gray mist, that floats before your minds eyes
That before you can grasp the memory away it flies

You carry with you a blackened sky
Not everyone can see it, but it's in your eyes
It's in the very heart of your being
I hear the sorrowful song your singing
You hide it well
Your personal hell
But I have my own, I can tell
I can feel your pain's tide ebb and swell
It threatens to pull you under
I too hear that thunder
We are creatures connected by darkness
The beast of Hell have marked us
You try to hide this from the world
As your life spirals and whirls
It's exhausting, I know for a fact
For everday your taken aback
Living life under that blackened sky
You can hide it, except from your eyes

My days spent with you
Are colored with the softest emotional hue
All in varying shades of blue
Of the sweet sadness that is you
A beautiful face graced with tears of dew
With the fullest lips that trembled when the pain grew
Your raven hair perfectly askew
To much of life's depravity you knew

To peer into those dark brown eyes
To witness their pleading question why
To hear that sorrowful quite sigh
Knowing that was your silent wish to die
Made this icicle heart melt and cry

There was nothing I could hide from your soul search gaze
It left my spirit lighter in so many ways
I no longer had to hide in the suns rays
I was free to dance in your darkening daze

Your beautiful sadness, graced you like pure black snow
Sure as the creek's slow flow
Goodness and love was all you would show

For your wounded soul knew
How misfortune could hunt you down and ensue
Leaving the feeling of happiness taboo
But with beautiful sadness you'd push through
As the universe's arrows struck and flew

You forever changed my vision
Unlocked me from the world's made prison
Loving you was not a choice nor a decision
You essence swept me into blissful submissions

It turned out to be my soul's deepest desire
To see the beauty in the muck and the mire
To accept the pain while in the midst of the fire
To wear sorrow with pride, like the robes of the heavenly choir

You allowed me to see beauty in the darkness
That the pain and agony does not tarnish
The beauty in the darkness remains regardless
If only to the darkness
It's beautiful view you harken

I can't catch my breath
I can't grasp your death
Living on without you
I simply don't want to do

I can't stop the pain
I can't stop the rain
Pouring from my eyes
Every heart beat is a sigh

I can't stop the grief
I can't stop the disbelief
You're everywhere I look
You're not a chapter you're my book

When I look in your eyes
I see the agony of a thousand goodbyes
The tears in your cries
I see the sadness of the wise

When I look in your eyes
I see the depth of love, it's no surprise
I see the twinkling of a thousand stars in the skies
I can see the moon rise

When I look in your eyes
I see the seasons turn, Autumn comes, summer dies
I see the death of year's, our slow demise
I agonize

When I look in your eyes
I sadly realize
One day we must part, there'll be no tears, no goodbyes
I'll just look into your eyes

Do you miss me, I want to know
You don't even kiss me when I go
Do you want me to stay away
You know I can,for days and days
When you want, your passion glows
When you turn it off, icicles grow
Maybe that's just it
About me you don't really give a ****
Maybe it's only lust
You're only addicted to the ******
So you only miss my certain parts
The one you don't want is the heart
So I break myself in pieces
Wishing I was your golden fleece

I see your heart, it's frozen ground
This is where others turn around
I guess, I like the punishment
After all I'm more than bent
So I transversed your deep icy caverns
Searching for a piece of coal that still burns
I thought my wicked flame would transform your heart
Well that's what I thought, at the start
Only to find my love was blind
You my dear were so unkind
Make my heart spin, to watch it unwind
In my face, I refuse to see the signs
My once warm glowing heart of red
Was being starved, it was never feed
You grinned at me and said
"Now we can play the game"
"Now we are one in the same"
"Now our love can start"
He had given me an icicle heart

You have changed my life
Everywhere I look I find
Love all around me

I promise to mislead, deceive, and begial
You can continue to live your life in denial
Pretending everything's great
As your lies you spin and create

I'm the one that comforts you in the dead of night
Not your so called friends that are so up tight

I calm your nerves
I'm what you deserve
I chase the memories away
I make everything seem ok

But somedays I make them stay
I make everything in disarray
You know on those days you just need more of me
On your back I'll always be
With the darkness always closing in, always there
I'll by the only one who truly cares
You are my favorite ******

Sincerely
Your Loving Monkey

I'm being washed away
Your silence rings in my ears
I'm drowning in your quiet ocean
Your lack of words is beginning to weigh
My eyes are creating a flood, down my checks roll the tears
Make some waves, give me some emotion

Maybe it will wash the past away
If you tell me, maybe our love you won't fear
You'll see I cause no drama, no commotion
I won't run, right bedside you I'll stay
I'll give you my heart, if your's I steal
I promise you babe all of my devotion

You fixed the lock
To that internal clock
That in my heart did dwell
I'm under your spell
You found the key
To set it free
Heart beating
Chest heaving
Mind spinning
Alive again
Your under my skin
Your traped within
Lost in time
Now that your mine

All corpses are haunting, the light is gone

There is a light in each one of us, it's where it belongs

Until death takes our hand, but sometimes it doesn't shine strong

So no matter how dark life is singing her song

And you think there's no light in you, you're wrong
