your moves
they take me
and erase my
worried silly mind
one more time

when I get
really lonely
I think about
the warm nights
inside your bed

cause I know
this will pass
just some times
i just wish
you'd come running

take your time
no need to rush
hold my hand
you're worth the wait
make no mistake

Over

Our words started to stutter,
and our lips began to quiver;
tears formed in our eyes,
enough to fill a river.

We couldn't say the right words,
but in that moment
no words could give us closure.
The silence spoke for us,
we both knew it was over.
We're perfect for each other,
it just wasn't the right time.
Cherish your loved ones.

Death-throws
You know what we used to be
You know what we are
And though i pretend its ok to be
I can no longer stand her beeing so close
To me

No one wants to hear about
How you're really feeling
Though you may be filled with doubt
To them, that's unappealing

Hide that part of you away
Clench your teeth, just smile
Maybe if you fake that you're okay
One day it will all be worthwhile
Here's to hoping.

Close your eyes
count backwards from fifty
Asleep you shall fall
Surely, but swiftly

If that doesn't work
It's okay, don't despair
Count imaginary sheep
As they leap through the air

You need to catch some z's
Your body is tired
Ignore the mere fact
That your mind is so wired

Oxygenate your cells
Don't worry, just breathe
Feeling relaxed yet?
Soon you'll drift to the land of dream

What's that? You're still up?
Perhaps you're just parched
Grab a quick glass of water
Then back to bed you shall march

As long as you're up
Might as well make a snack
Digestion should wear you
As the food makes way through your tract

You've wasted enough time
Now back to your slumber
Collapse onto the mattress
Slide under the covers

Each day you face your demons
Though at times it feels you're not winning
Inhale, exhale slowly
Now let's start again from the beginning

PRISON*

Love is bereft ---abandoned by the heartless
cry not, nor lament--none is around to listen
     sorrows of the broken heart
    are never assuaged by reason

   ..ah ! when would love
  its splendour once more  glisten?
my pillow I #bite this sombre night
in tears--I never knew love was such a prison.
* inspired by Free Bird's LATE NIGHT CONFESSIONS--she is a fellow-writer in HP.  # This poem is meant to be written by a young girl in distress.

Time has a fickle heart...I left my memories with her thinking I could return and pick them up but they were fleeting moments she took them with her and I am left with empty pages.
