I once believed myself alone
because the world did not know me.
I now know I am alone
because I know the world.

cosmo naught
like a meadow at dusk
(I walked into such luck.
kiss me once, twice, a million:
Oh my God, you are Brilliant!)
and how fireflies ignite,
I catch tidbits & delight
underlidtop my heart
(Never so far apart.)

Smell the
newborn puppies;
placenta from heaven,
like candy canes and
burning leaves.
Stay green as long as
you can.
Drink up the sunrise like
a chocolate malt;
because tomorrow comes
with a sigh...

what a civilized bunch
of lonely bundles
we are
Remember when we rode buses and thanked bus drivers?

Corvus the Crow
The Father of the Earth awoke,

And gave a gift to each of his sons.

The first was knowledge,

So that they might triumph.

The second was will,

So that they might rage.

The third was hope,

So that they might endure.

And his sons gazed on high to ask,

"Why?"

And the Father was silent.

For no answer could justify the pain that would be his final gift,

So that they might see what it is to be alive.
Purpose.
