Dimitrios Sarris
Sailed in seas which match the heavens
wispered secrets at a sunset
and followed the trumbling stars
the ship anchored to land green and reach
an unearthly melody that filled the air.
It was not the foaming waves
not the bird's sing
nore the leaves rustling.
And so the traveller wondered in confusion
until he met a stranger sitting at the foreland.
He did not ask where he is but from
where this music comes from.
The stranger turned and spoke.
"It's Dagda's harp and Apollo's canto
both in tune with Bragi's poem.
Now i travel home for you found yours
and so i return."

Bullying and ragging
Teasing and taunts
In spite of your spying
Of  cameras and guards
Our fake security
And a blast of vulnerability
I know, you all had just accomplished your duties
With long syllabus and revision tests
We're not seeking inspiration
You just bind us in the shackled cage of calculations
We've already lost all our imagination
Imparting the valuable knowledge isn't enough
It's we who suffer
Under the piles of rules and regulations
That harsh incident reminded you of our security
Now you're waiting for another incident
To modernise all facilities
Still I bow in respect
To your every thoughts and teachings
Is it my weakness or some kind of gallantry?

it’s a good thing
i don’t need you anymore

because you wouldn’t be here
anyway.

if a poet falls in
love with you be
prepared to be
written about

in every possible way
from the way your eyes
sparkle under the moon

to how your lips form
that ever-so perfect smile
it’s the little things that
poets write about

the little things about you
makes a poet want to write
and write until their hand breaks

I watched you fade away,
At a quicker pace
Than the bruises you left, on my body.
