It was all too fast,
And it wasn’t our fault.
They hurt us to last,
As a wound touching salt.
Rope around my neck,
Tried and cried I couldn’t.
My life is a dreck,
Suicidal shouldn’t.
I hope you’re happy,
No matter that bad day.
False world seems sappy,
Purgatory I pray.
Never to see you,
Far from me you flew.

The thought of drinking with them again makes me sick,
I had to wake up and say no.
The killing myself life long misery so quick,
The last bile in me was a blow.
Funny how life works things cared about so strong,
Sooner or later catches up.
Regret and pain knowing who I hurt for so long,
Pouring my life away in cup.
I always asked something selfish of the All High,
Never realising friendship had.
All I ask now is not even to say goodbye,
Thought of losing them makes me sad.
Keep them safe soul from poison God let me go first,
For I know and You know the pain before its worst…

First seeing their eyes,
I thought love to begin.
Angels to God cries,
Guarding our souls within.
Journeys never known,
All forced into peril.
Of life till death shown,
Hope darkness left feral.
Given what wanted,
So happens to move on.
What left so chaunted,
Fear not life to be drawn.
What thought of love, hewn,
Sake of being soon…

The cutoff begins here,
All like you never known me.
You made it crystal clear,
Burning your love to debris.
Where I always wanted,
When they first saw me with you.
You so gaunt and haunted,
I rocked your world and you knew.
I would drown out your soul,
Every bit and least of it.
Save you from your sick hole,
Hurt pleasure until you quit.
Do you still miss me, or,
Are you alone still sore?
Definitions of Dreams & Things XVI - Poem 10
Even when we say we’re done,
We keep thinking of each other.
Seeing we’re not having fun,
Lives meant to be one can wuther.
Rebellious to be so loved,
We never regret what we had.
In the end it was you shoved,
I had to end us leaving mad.
Don’t want to end with all this,
All life and love must come to end.
They say ignorance is bliss,
Till happiness no more to spend.
I say you’re handsome heaven,
Our love never to question.
Definitions of Dreams & Things XVI - Poem 8
I lost you to the shadows,
Cold and dark.
Soul after soul to gallows,
Losing spark.
Afraid that you “love” me still,
It’s over.
What is done even at will,
Goes rover.
The light of justice goes far,
Missing truth.
Where life to turn wrong a scar,
Lost “love” sleuth.
We were lost long time ago,
Don’t come back - I told us so…
Definitions of Dreams & Things XVI - poem 8.
His lust used to cut me deep,
Raw and rare with flesh inside.
Draining his soul all to seep,
Until hearts left broken, cried.
We used to be best of things,
Days met, happier ever.
The beauty of all life sings,
Making shared times so clever.
So what happens when we’re grazed,
Too entangled in our den?
Razor sharp as we are raised,
Lived to tell life as sin?
Never wanting to confess,
Our lust and love a mess.
