Longing
Charles Bentley May 2018
I long for the way you used to make me feel,
I long for what we used to be,
I long for how you used to let me be real,
I long for what people used to see.

I miss the way her hips used to sway,
I miss the way that she came home to me,
I miss how we were never in a state of decay,
I miss how we used to be.

I want her to come back,
I want things to be just how they were,
I want her to put me back on the right track,
I want things to stop being such a blur.
This is the third poem I ever wrote and so far the last but I am working on a new one
