The greatest thief of all time
Was the first boy I loved
He stole and he stole and he stole
From every girl who crossed his path

Including me

And now I'm left
With hardly anything
Just the shattered memories of him
Because he threw them across the room

And my broken heart
That he took in his horrific hands
And squeezed until it broke
Claiming it as his own
I want to "unbreak" your heart, to steal all the hurt
I want to look for every lost piece if you let me please
I want to scour the floor and sweep every corner
so that I can gather all the pieces I shattered
and steadily and carefully locate where each piece fits
on the puzzle of your big broken heart
I want to unbend the crooked by the impact
and fold those straightened curves to bring her shape back
I can't make the cracks totally disappear
but I wish I could, I want to weld the spaces with hot friendship
to lock out the air of doubt and despair
I want to incinerate the bad memories with fire of my passion
so that you won't remember the same fire burnt you
I also want to paint the welded whole with the crimson if romance
so that placed back on the shelf of reality
you can be purchased by someone you deserve
someone who'll appreciate your sacrifices
the absurdity & melancholy hidden underneath the coating
I so much want to heal all the wounds and the scars
I don't know whether you will let me in or shut the doors
but whatever you do, I deserve it for causing you pain
I want to be an adulteration that cures its malady
because I'm remorseful for what happened
I have had ideas, many times;
I have had anger at all the world
And its plates and cups and knives and forks
And pots and pans.

I have used coffee scrub, up
To my elbows
And sugar scrub on my face.

I have stood over rose beds
With my legs far apart
And bled colour to the world below,
Trailing my hell along behind me.

I have had bitter blandness
Blanch the back
Of my throat and the roof of my mouth
Until all that was left was bleach.

I have held glass bottles to the sky
Waiting for thunderstorms.

I have whispered my love to the palm of your hand,
Then watched it drain out through the cracks into sand.

But still I will eat
All my meals out of teacups/
I will let my blemished body be/
I will smell every flower
Growing along the side of a drain/
I will gargle before bed
With pinecone and cherry grain/
I will watch
Outside my window for hail/
I will whisper other things to you
Until the end
Of time
Or tomorrow --
Whichever comes first
-- and hope that inspiration strikes.
Sun-blushed mugginess mothers us,
With the promise of a storm.
Swarms of bumble bees do buzz
Amongst Cotoneasters bathed in warm.

It’s proper summer,
That’s for sure.
No more ice and snow
For us to endure.

The Longest Day will soon be gone,
But here, right now, the sun has won.
Time to fiesta, how I love it.
More of this I truly covet.

Midsummer again. Love it.
the pieces fall into place
&
sometimes
the place falls into pieces
SaD
it's sadness that
drives me mad
the madness that
makes me sad
it's a sadness tears
can't explain
the sadness which as
a scar will also pain
it's one words can't
put into context
I just gotta live
under the pretext
of hope of the end
yet it's one
which never
ends...
