As a child
I thought
God
was crying
when it rained.
For several years
that sentiment
remained
Growing into youth
I believed
Angels
poured out the rain
to feed our
planet
Cleaning, polishing,
diamonds and granite.
The Man of lawlessness
Walks in the world today
destroying
God’s
creation in every way
A time will come
with no more
RAIN
people will go
insane
God‘s
wrath said
let it burn
Humans
had their turn
what did they learn!
All these fires in California worsening every year by people who are purposely setting the fires and they’re not even getting in trouble for equity they call it when wrong is right and right is wrong drastic measures need to be employed what comes next only God knows.
There are mornings of just being vulnerable,
There are  afternoons of an imperfect you,
There are evenings of so much worry and fear of everything.

But there is  waking up to embracing  the solid truth.

YOU ARE BRAVE and WORTH OF LOVE.

You have to wake up to this.
Tonight I say hello,
Hello to a light that shine,
A shine that has been gone far too long.
Long enough to make me sad.
Sad enough to think I do not matter in this world.
World big enough to hide within.
Within this life all that matters is tonight!
 Aug 2021 My Dear Poet
Steve Page
He leads me by waters of rest,
waters bubbling with competing song,
each voice heralding restored souls,
flowing down perfect paths through the greenest pastures
where our master-shepherd has prepared my rest.

Even in deep darkness,
I need not fear
for His rod and staff protect me.

Surely steadfast love follows me
as I return to dwell in the house of the Lord all my long days
and there I shall feast at my Lord-Shepherd's high table
forever.
A psalm 23 re-visit
