The taste of her lips;
         brings me to my knees,
         where I melt her in my mouth,
         not my hands.

feelings float like clouds
a journey into freedom
my breath my  anchor.

just a foolish girl
letting nostalgia
fill her heart
and leave her aching
for a love
that never existed.

When we chance
upon each other
years later,
you will ask me

          do you still write?

and I will answer

           of course I do.

you took my heart
with you when you left,
not my hands.

You only need one reason

To stay alive that is

Sometimes it may be large

Or it may be small

But a reason always gives you purpose

We're all worth the same

Despite fame, politics, and other nonsense

That in actuality doesn't matter

You are you and only you

And you will never happen again

Don't take your beauty away

Because the fact you exist is truly beautiful
