there are so many of you
that i would love to sit down with;
maybe over a milkshake and a plate of fries;
and just talk.
i want to ask you about the boy that hurt you,
about the anger you feel deep inside
over a father who said he’d come back...
and then didn’t.
i want to run with you through pages of words and say
“oh that’s right, what a lovely metaphor.”
i want to see all your smiling faces and
thank each and every one of you for showing me kindness,
for saving my life.
i want to collaborate on novels of poetry
and laugh with you through the tears of our pasts.
so until we sip those milkshakes and eat those fries...
thank you, to
some of the most beautiful people i have never met.
to all my HePo followers/friends/ fellow poets! you have all given me a beautiful escape from Life <3

I gape at YOU
with my mouth closed

I walk on a moon
without a space suit

I run bare feet
on the volcanic fire

I fly into your skies -
even without wings

Despite YOU eluding me
with your glances
I am drooling all my LOVE
like your Rasputin dog
YOU know I do not even
want to stop melting myself

My black and white eyes reflects
Only YOUR rainbows in them

The moment I feel YOU within me
My eyes pop out and gaze at your beauty

My rustic veins within roars torrentZ
Spirally like a tornado / twister

My Blood pressure breaks
All the BP monitor limits

Ah... those eyes -
YOU are blessed with

Ah... What a face -
The All-Mighty has crafted

Oh.. My GOD
YOUR physical beauty -

Peacocks are ashamed to come out
And walk in front of you
When you are around

Knowing your **** wit and wisdom
I search for Einstein and Socrates
Who may be hiding under your skin

How stunning YOU are in totality
That is what works like a MAGICAL spell
On my poor love-lack-skeletal being

Through your existence
NATURE - All Mighty orchestrating
The biggest festival of LOVE ever seen

Did anyone tell you that
YOU are Leonardo's
Sculpture of Venus and
Painting of Mona Lisa

YOU feel so gentle,
Tender and soft in touch

YOU grace this earth to demystify
The concept of REAL TRUE
Natural earthy BEAUTY

Who will not adorn YOU
As an apple of their eyes..

No wonder Adam - EVE
Ate an apple of LOVE...

Mirroring -
Let I be your Adam
Let me be your Eve

Take away everything of mine
But keep me within
YOUR protective vault
Locker of a SOUL

In Praise Of Your "BEAUTY"
- Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Divine
I'd like to be alone,
but I don't want to be lonely.

I'd like to be in hope,
but I don't want to be hopeless.

I'd like to be in love,
but I don't want to be broken.

I'd like to be sad,
but I don't want to be weak.
For when I'd like to be 'me', but I don't want to be 'her'.

Why do people think
That being cubby
Is ugly?

Thick thighs

Rounded stomach

Flabby waist

I’ve never thought it mattered
Because if someone
Thinks you’re ugly
Because of the amount of skin
You have or don’t have

Then they don’t know
What true beauty is

Because in my opinion
If they care for you
They’ll love all of you

He wrote line after line
Filling pages with words of ink
Storms alive in his eyes
Pen grasping paper, barely breathing from letter to letter

Ideas swarm his mind
Like sharks in an ocean
Preying on anything they can find
Growing from a sea filled with life

He couldn't sleep at night
Because the same sheep he counted
Told him stories ever beautiful
Stories that needed to be shared
Captured in the fleeting moments they're spoken
Or lost to slumber for eternity

As his journal filled, he was humbled
Thirst quenched by words that didn't get away
With his words archived securely
He could finally close his eyes

I tried to write a poem
about how I felt
but
the paper just stayed empty because

how do you write out
the sudden realization
that because you trusted and told a secret
a friend will never look at you the same

how do you write out
your screams when
he lays his cold hands
on your body

how do you write out
the red of your skin
after trying to
scrub his touch off

how do you write out
the sound of her voice
when she laughs and
calls your name

how do you write out
the taste of your tears
when your parents say
you’ll always be a girl

how do you write out
loneliness and watching
your two friends talk and laugh
while you just sit quietly

how do you write out
jealousy and regret
when you see how little
everyone cares

I don’t know how
to write this poem
I guess I’m just not
a good poet.
I'm just not a good poet.
On the pier of life I sit,
dangling in my thoughts.
Days past I'd be fishing
for the stars,
happy in my thoughts.
A small fish here,
a small fish there,
it mattered.
I had something.
Now my eyes close
to the horizon,
to my reflection of the sea,
and to life.
Birds flock to the skies,
in harmony,
with the wind,
with each other,
over singing trees
and ryhming seas,
in communal and in chorus.
My dark eyes look up,
mournful.
For how I thirst the album of life,
fervent and epic.
Resigned I sit,
my shoulders sagging,
my closing feet dangling
at the end of the pier.
I close my eyes
and think of my pallbearers,
laughing.
I imagine their lips,
curt little whispers,
my epithaph,
he did get his feet wet in life.

to be a writer..

it’s an awfully emotional adventure.

it doesn’t mean
you’ve always got a pen in hand.
it also doesn’t mean
you’ve got too many voices in your head.

to be a writer
means to fall in love young,
and to never fall out of love.
because like a true love,
the words will never leave you
or never let you down.

to be a writer
means that you want it;
you crave the aligned phrases,
the scratch of lead on paper,
the depth of the ink soaking in.
the beauty that the words leave behind.

to be a writer
means that you need it,
that without it,
you’re not sure how you’d speak
without a voice.
it means that early in the morning,
when your cheeks are stained with tears
and your heart is trembling
within its cage
the flow of words
coming from inside
is the only thing that can save you.

to be a writer..

is an awfully wonderful adventure.
here at hello poetry, we’ve all had something in our lives, whether it be known or not, that made us a writer. i’m honored and thankful to be here, on this wonderful adventure, with you all:)
