Sometimes sneaking into the fields
to steal watermelon and plums
Sometimes bring water from the well and drink when the night glooms
Sometime dangling with buses feels like a big sweep
Sometimes sleep on the luggage seat in second class rail compartment

Sometimes even planes do not suit
Sometimes waking up in the morning
and sleeping again
But sometimes we can't sleep
even for a moment
Sometimes reading in the library
is not our purpose

we repeat pages of a book
Sometimes eating dry bread with onions makes us happy
While sometimes various kinds
of luxury food makes us unhappy
Sometimes it makes angry with self
While sometimes we love others without any check
Sometimes we live happily under
a mere ceiling fan in small cell
Sometimes It's hard to stay in luxury AC suit
Sometimes it feels as if we can't live a moment without a companion
While sometimes it goes all alone
Life moves on in every situation
Sometimes it is for self
while sometimes for others
Life is the struggle with self more than with others
This is what makes
our life as if 'it is a toy'.

रखो शब्दों की मर्यादा,
इनकी उम्र है हम से ज्यादा।।

गांव से कल भाई आया
लाया बिलोने का घी
कुदरत ने पलटी मारी
मुझको लग गई सी
हालात-ए- मौसम देख
मेरा ललचाया जी
बस उठाया कड़छी पलटा
हलवे की मुराद पूरी कर ली।।

ये कैसा किसान‌ दिवस आज
किसान बैठे हैं सड़क पर
और खेत हैं सुनसान।
     आज सुनकर इनकी बात
     कुछ तो करो राह‌ आसान
     धरती‌ बिछोना‌ अंबर चादर
     ऊपर से सर्दी है पूरे परवान
यों ही‌ कोई नहीं त्यागता
खुली सड़कों पर‌ प्राण
     जहां शंका है वहीं
     जन्म लेता है समाधान
     जहां विघटन है वहीं
     जन्म लेता है संगठन
बस नियत‌ हो साफ और
उद्देश्य हो कल्याण
      मुद्दा‌ जिद का नहीं है
     ये है किसान के जीवन का सवाल
     उपजाने के‌ बाद में हमेशा ही
     औने-पौने दामों में लुटता उसका माल
बड़े-बड़े व्यापारियों से प्रतिस्पर्धा से
दिला दो इसको त्राण
      कहते हैं देश की समृद्धि का
     रास्ता गुजरता खेत- खलिहानों से
     खेत - खलियान आबाद होते हैं
      किसानों की खुशहाली से
इस देश की खुशहाली को
बचाने का आज करो कोई ऐलान।।
