मास्टर जी के लिए दूध भिजवाना
रूठने पर गाल पर थप्पड़ लगाना
रात को फिर साथ लाड़ से सुलाना
स्कूल‌ के‌ लिए नये जूत्ते दिलाना
कहां है अब वैसा जमाना
पिता का रोज सानिध्य पाना
वर्षा ऋतु में हल चलाना
नाश्ते में गुड़वानी के लड्डू खिलाना
धूप में पगड़ी की छांव में चलाना
रात्रि में घी-खीच का भोज खिलाना
कहां है अब वैसा जमाना
पिता से‌ शाबाशी पाना
कॉलेज के दिनों के वो विवाद
देते थे अनगिनत जवाब
वो उनका "जितनी चादर,
उतने पैर फैलाना"की नसीहत देना
अंततः है किशोर जिद के आगे
विवाद में हथियार डालना
देता था हजारों प्रेरणा और
साबित हुआ सशक्त बनने में साधना
कहां है अब वह जमाना
पिता से स्वस्थ विवाद करना
गृहस्थ जीवन में पिता बिना समान नहीं
उनकी आशीष के बिना उत्थान नहीं
पिता है ज्यों नीम का पेड़
जीभ से कड़वा पर लाभ अनेक
जो चले पिता की सीख
उनके घर की अलग है रेख
कहां है अब वह जमाना
और पिता के शब्दों की ईख।

Bus, train, aeroplane, ship,
holiday & holydip arranges for me
Hospital, community centre, doctor,
gym & liberary arranges for me
Only communication with god
and his wish inaccessible to me
That is why it is called mobile otherwise It had been a god to me.
