If you go down to Westminster today you're in for a big surprise
If you can stand the stench, you will not believe your eyes
For all the MPs who have lied and lied have all quit before the people uprise
For this is the week that parliament collapses.

******* it time for the Blairites, who don't know who to back for their best
******* it time for the Tories, as Daves walked away from his mess
The Labour deputy is such a coward and like the chancellor has lost his voice
Because they realise the people no longer want them.

So if you go south to parliament you best beware of knives
Labour have turned into Tories and only Jezza survives.
They think they can push him off a cliff, more chance of Dave being stuck in a pig
The week the war came back to haunt the Blairites!

But if go down to tip you hat and stand against Corbyn
Beware back home they petittion to do you knees like you did his
Your voters whom you have ignored and ignored are looking to throw you out the door
So grab your coat and don't forget your sister!!!!

But one more thing if you think this is cut and drawn
Remember Farage, Boris Gove and the irritable bowel one
None have so far grown a pair, they want to give someone else the blame
Because half the country has changed its mind again!!!
Written in haste

After the great storms I watched the news when Kent was destroyed I wrote this. It isn't romantic but always been one of my favourites.

No person has ever read it.

The wind weeps

The breeze can't be heard

The wind blows through touching my skin

I hear the wind

The breeze gets stronger it pulls at me

The wind holds the form of the tree

The breeze dances moves its leaves

The wind it pulls them to be betrayed

The clouds form dark and grey the wind is turning to a gale.

You cannot see breeze nor wind but see the branches twist and bend

The gale it pulls at the oaks great root and smashes bower for centuries stood.

It goes from gale to wind to breeze as though it never visited here.

All around in majesty the taught remains of the lost trees
Seven oaks will grow again for my  children's children to touch again.

Not today you ******* thing
Two days early it isn't fair!
Mother natures evil work
I'm like a grenade waiting to go off
My stomach aches burning hot
Don't speak or ask me what is wrong
I'm a woman you ***** it's obvious!
Give me a hug x No don't touch me now!
For I'm the moody PMT cow
I love you I hate you god your a man
But next week I'll want you if your still around

You should look forward to seeing the person you come home to as much as they do you.
You have that, you hold the entire world within your hands
Keep tight hold

Liking or licking hmmm maybe similar
Pain or pane smash one get the other
Steak or stake drive cattle or a post
The English confuses me most
Lite or light, bright or brite
Understanding is all that is write or wright or write
Oh who gives a ****

Cold in heart and a soul, darkened by avarice
No kind words, not a smile only rebuke
Yet they weekly prostrate before him
Like an emperor thumbs up or down
Killing only dreams and expectations
And for what?
A moment of fame
Micheal Wolf Apr 2015
I am the watcher, the keeper, the one who looks out. The one who catches those who fall down.
I am the kind word when all is harsh, the laughter that warms you when your worlds torn apart.
I am the light in the darkness the hand as you drown.
No one special just there at the time.
I am the one who sees past your drama and pain.
The one who stops you shaking with rage.
I am no one to anyone, but a last resort.
The one who waited, who walked you home.
The one who chose to make things right. To do something for nothing when others would charge.
You have never met me, but many we are.
Those who still care, those who have hearts.
So sleep now and forget how we met.
Just know there are many..
We have no name.
Micheal Wolf Feb 2013
So people think where at it
They think we're on the job
Touching where the sun don't shine
The horizontal jog
Sneaking round in darkness
A bunk up here and there
A bit of a knee trembler
Oh when oh where!
I suppose they see a something
That neither of us do
Is it what they would do
It they were me and you?
Well sorry to deflate them
It isn't really so
We never got between the sheets
Or any other joy
So just to set the record straight
We haven't popped the cork!
It just gives you a purpose
A topic for to talk!
A cheeky retort to a quizling
Micheal Wolf Mar 2014
Once born it's never on thy lips
Upon thy brow a mothers kiss

Then others all will follow suit
Bestowing light and love to you

Instinct overrides them all
As lips to your brow they are called

Yet as you grow it seems to stop
Kisses to your cheek do flock

Then when love and lust appear
Kisses to the lips doth flow

Once again a child is born
Now you are drawn to their sweet brow

Yet years pass and twilight falls
You start to shed this mortal coil

Once again they come to kiss
On your brow,  not your lips

A cycle now almost complete
Ancestors call, it's time to leave

A kiss opon a wrinkled brow
Third eye closed, time to go
Something that needed finishing
Micheal Wolf Mar 2014
He lay, curtains closed the sound of traffic growing louder the day begining. Began for what? The night left him so tired confused and as always alone. The sounds therapeutic in a way, yet none the less irritating. Maginalised, such a good word he thought, playing the days back on the third eye screen. Always black and white. Each time replayed in more detail but less clarity of why. Eyes open the curtains have two shades, the sun begining to light the room. Tupence less the wiser and no longer a penny left.... for thoughts of anything.
Micheal Wolf Nov 2012
I thought he had a limp she thought he was stiff, you thought he hurt his back, the nurse thought his feet. Only he thought he'd farted in fact it was the ***** !
Micheal Wolf Nov 2013
Choose your thoughts carefully I once heard said
How do you choose what comes into your head?
It isn't like picking a card from the deck
With 51 gone and you with one left
For thoughts are seeded and grow into frame
They sometimes die or fade away
Yet some are so strong I think you'll agree
They forge the soul in a human being
For thoughts become words
Thoughts become deeds
They become choices
Your reality
So a daydream could be the start of a wish
Or a fanciful dalliance only you see
So close your eyes tight and open your mind
For your thoughts could be for all mankind

God may not play dice
But some people do
What gets up my nose
Is when it's with you

You want me tonight
Then ignore me tomorrow
Don't roll again
Then run to another

If you throw a six
And have a good day
Remember me then
Not when one rolls again

So if you love like rolls of a dice
Always remember you can't throw twice.

46 today 47 tomorrow
A life that's had highs and lows
Will it feel different? I doubt it no
I can drink, smoke and vote
The smoke I'll pass I'd probably choke
I can marry, err no I tried that one
Don't think my heart could break again
So I can be straight or gay! Now there's a thought
Im sorry guys your not my sort
The world you see is pretty much my oyster
I just lack direction as I get older
Younger days now that was fun
The postman used to think I was a stud
As cards galore the day before
St Valentines to my door
Reality was not quite the same
It to just another day
Now it's different really quite strange
As friends ask What you doing today?
What's planned? Your single now so party man!!!
Sometimes I just don't think I can
Depression you see has become my friend
He visits me around such times
Like the ex wife a parasite
For years it's raised its woeful head
Really ! Wish I'd stay in bed
Well 815 that Sunday morn to a cold world I was born
I have seen wars and famine disaster and greed
Nations bring others to their knees
So the plan is simple all I want
Just to see my daughters for an hour
I can't wait to get the cards that they have made
Means more since they have gone away
Then a cuddle that could make my cry
But they can't see as I just smile.
So go think a while on what you have
Your world may not be so bad
Look into your lovers eyes
Hug you kids, hold them tight.
Oh if your out tomorrow night
Tie one on for me alright x

Poetry is temporarily unavailable once more
While I try to focus above a door
Scraping tile adhesive off and breaking tools doing the job
Flaming mad I have become as it won't come off and it isn't fun
So soon I shall expand the task
Get my hammer and smash smash smash
It may be neanderthal but I've had enough
It's tIme to finish this for good.
Micheal Wolf May 2013
Day upon day the madness of living infects our every action
Viral in its encompasment of our souls
If only we could step back
Regroup
Think
Act
Absorb
Then maybe it would mean more
Till then
Madness
Micheal Wolf Dec 2012
I need time not a change
I need to sort things out
Sort my mind
Sort my soul
It isn't who I am
It's who I've become
Not who I want to be
I needed time
Not rebuke
Micheal Wolf Mar 2024
I thought today about time. If I could travel in it. No one would ever be dead to me. I could visit the past the future, then it came crashing down. They would never be dead. But one day, I would be.
Micheal Wolf Aug 2019
They say time heals all wounds.  But what if time itself is the illness?
Killing us from the day we are born.
Second by second.
Breath by breath.
What if?
Micheal Wolf Sep 2013
Time is a measure of where you have been
Where you are going and when you were seen
Its a friend to your journey a remimder of place
A pull on the heart strings  when thoughts are misplaced
So time is of essence!
For you dont hold it at all
It just moves beside you, no becon no call.
Micheal Wolf Oct 2014
He's a timeshare dad, you know the kind. Sees his kids when the wife decides. Blamed for all the things gone wrong in her life.
Even long after, when you are gone. Spoken of but never to. What are they supposed to do? Pay the bills and have no say because they chose another's hay.
A myth exists that they don't care!
For half the week that they aren't there.
So next time you see a weekend dad
Look at the smile he holds so proud, simply doing the best that he can.
Hoping the kids understand
For later when he takes them home it's emptiness like you've never know.
Till next week he's cold and alone.
A timeshare dad he has become.
Micheal Wolf Jan 2019
Every minute of every day you give your life away.
Each moment spent on all those fools who waste your time and play with you.
Each step at a time one forward two back they play with you as they run past.
The clock ticks so so fast.
Micheal Wolf Mar 2018
She may not be here now, or you there.
She may have passed before you, so you couldn't tell her.
She may be frail and no longer know you, and the words you say seem lost.
She may be alone as you went before her, but you're always in her thoughts.
But know in your heart how she loved you so much and brought you into this world.
For nine months she carried what you have now become you are her best work.
Then she wrapped you, named you and held you, so close in her loving arms.
So today tell her you love her wherever you both may be.
It's sometimes easy to forget, she's the reason that you are here!
Micheal Wolf Oct 2013
Motionless as though time itself had been banished
Perfect yet useless, a thing of beauty but no purpose now
Moments earlier inviting,  luring me towards
But now no emotion only frustration
I tried so hard to stop it
Both hands in desperate grasp!
But to no avail
Motionless
Wasted
Face down
The last slice
Jam side down
Ruined
Micheal Wolf Nov 2017
Run
Run some more
Spend more time outside walking
Write
Write some more
Take more chances
Love again
Put the past behind me
Don't settle for second best
Warch all the movies I want too

Help people if I can
Avoid devil ****** magic!
Marry a Burlesque dancing nymohomaniac

Sign there son
You will be paid
Take the shilling
Europe awaits!
Grab your rifle
Grab your sack
Tell your mum you'll be back

Meet new friends
Palls together
All aboard and off to The Somme
They were just kids together alone

First the smell
Then the noise
Far from what you left at home
Then the shells begin to fall
Like nothing you had seen before

You're wet and cold and in a hole
Shaking with fear not the cold
Your friend just passed in a puff of smoke
His head was first, then his *****
His legs are spread across the floor

Then another explodes next to you
The smoke clears and the Sarge smiles at you
Like a statue painted red
He doesn't know he's already dead

Mother Mother! Others scream
But cries and wails no one hears
None of this can be real
You're just a boy and soiled with fear

Fifty years past then more
At night you still hear the screams and cannons roar
Like yesterday but years before
It didn't end all the wars

They made a sequel a bigger cast
Not your turn now to carry the flag
With one arm you can't do that
And your lungs still burn from the gas

Once again the generals cried
"Come on lads, we need you now, come and sign the Sgts form"
But was Tommy on the top once more?
Or did they use anothers name, to sign your precious lives away.

When oh when will all the madness end
For The Somme took away your friends
Only poppys now remain
Over fields where Britains youth lies slain
Tommy s  British WW1 soldiers were called that as the example name on recruitment forms was..

We recycle emotions each day
We try to balance imbalance
Aggregate physicality with spirit
Pit fear against loving
Just the pros and cons
Always wanting positivity
But prepared for failure
It's the conditioning
Endemic duet in fact
Yet surpasable
Once balanced you can tip the scales
Rise over what held you down
Begin to live not exist
Micheal Wolf Sep 2013
Ever tangled in a maelstrom of indignant cursing
Plagued by misappropriated convovulation
A self satisfying ******* of prose
He tosses out verse after verse to quell the burning
The fire inside that yearns for air
Yet disbelieves his words have worth
Micheal Wolf Aug 2012
How does she think, how does she feel, what does she see in me.

Open your door and smile please don't say a word so I may kiss you before you take a breath

Open your mind to sounds and songs you have never heard to verse that stirs emotion

May you listen may they move you

Open your eyes to places you have never seen, sights that fire your imagination

But I beg of you take me with you on your journey may I be your guide

Open your arms to embrace me. Take me to your breast so I may forget the day and long for the night. But hide from leaving you in the morn Yet miss you all the day

Open your heart let me walk in its halls share its closed rooms let us furnish them with dreams. Hang pictures that stir emotion on its walls

Open your soul let us look out of its windows Sweep and mend its worn floors. Let us sit together upon them

Let us run in its realm burst open its shutters to warmth and light. Let us be together

In your eyes I see your warmth. Let me see your soul and your world

Look at what you see not what is there, sketch it for eternity, let me share those pictures

In your dreams take my hand lead me to your chamber,  blindfold me and undress me for I have no need of sight if you guide me

In your dreams make love to me alone. Let the world subside for I am yours alone

Let me know no other or be afraid of my emotions, let me be yours

In my dreams we two are entwined are one, melded together as ivy embraces and wraps around an oak, to reach for the warmth and light

Now close your eyes see me in your dreams

Feel inside your heart am I there

Listen in the night I whisper your name

Feel the breeze as I breathe on your neck

Let your heart race you skin tingle your body stiffen

It is surely me inside you

Now close your door turn its keys and lock me in your palace. Shut the world out for I have space for no other.

See his ink
Cut off wings
A fallen angel
Making amends
For what don't ask
He will never tell
He drifts in and out
Of others lives
The mask hides the pain
So deep inside
Now with nothing
He tries to repay
The debt to life
He must each day
Micheal Wolf Sep 2013
Hidden behind the mask of today
I didn't have a word to say
A stranger enfered all was false
And walked away in a huff
White rabit was clearly off his cake
His OCD had wrecked his head
Pinochio the lying *****
Wishes his nose was his ****
But its all a joke and you can't fix
The fairy tales that other's speak
Gaffer tape can stop the noise
A baseball bat will halt the cause!
Micheal Wolf Nov 2013
What a guy!
What a player!
On the field he was the slayer.
The only son, the one to watch.
The one who others tried to match.
He had the looks and physique
A grades at school for all to see.

Now he pays a heavy price
Drinks Jack Daniels every night
For all his life he was pushed
To be valour dictorum in the year book

He had problems so deep inside
He didn't want footballers thighs
He wanted silk and lace with heels
Not the college football kit
If he could have what he dreamed
He'd be a cheerleader on that field

As a boy late at night
He gave his mom a real fright
There he was in her clothes
His father beat him and killed his soul

Years went by and James was wed
So he wore his wife's clothes instead!
Till one day he bought his own
Shaved his legs and went out alone
He bumped into a group of jocks
Who beat him because he wore a frock

Now in the mirror he has scars
That match the hundreds still inside
For James outside to all of you
Was Jayne inside and then showed you

But now at 50 for him to late
To be reasigned and be just Jayne
Times have changed and so have views
If he wants to, let him wear Jimmy Choos
So if any friends I have Called John
Wants to be simply Joanne
Let me know asap
We can celebrate with a drink.
Disgusted at a story I read about a tortured soul.
Humanity needs a good kick and not this way.
Micheal Wolf Jan 2017
Caught by chance upon a tree
Now a jewel for all to see
Trapped in a moment for evermore
That's how Amber creates a jewel

Like a first glance for eternity
The unsuspecting didn't see
Was simply passing on their way
Didn't mean for them to stay

But once touched by all that Amber is
Your whole life changes in a flash
For you there is no turning back

A drop of liquid gold
She has you in fateful hold
For you can never be the same
Trapped inside till your last breath
And you haven't realised it yet

Her golden warmth like liquid love
Surrounds you as you feel its touch
By now it's far to late
For Amber now has sealed your fate

You cannot resist
You cannot move
It's over now
At least for you
A play upon words between a Sap, Jusrassic Park and Amber
Read into it what you will
There is a little something of all of us trapped by another.
Micheal Wolf Aug 2014
Broken glass and tightrope walks
Whispers in my own home
Trying to keep out of the way
Fear an explosion each and every day

The way things ended up
Have no resemblances of love
Living a lie is like being dead
Who said zombies don't exist

So if this is you and you see yourself
Living alone with someone else
Existing isn't a life
As each day you die more inside

Take the reigns and make a stand!
Cut the rope and smash the ice
Go outside and scream so loud
Let the world know your back

Find the you, you lost or hid
I promise you, you can, you will
Live and love and don't exist
Be the you that we all missed.
Micheal Wolf Mar 2016
At 3 am when sleep won't call, the mind goes places it shouldn't ought.
To past times of joy and some of pain but mostly to thoughts of future days.
For in those waves between wake and sleep, others walk through your thoughts and dreams.
Some simply pass and head on through, others kick off their travellers shoes.
They pull up a chair and in that altered state are as real as flesh in the wakeing world.
But the thoughts I like and hold most dear are the thoughts that somehow seem quite surreal.
Friends be you close or an ocean away, you wandered into my thoughts today.
Micheal Wolf Mar 2014
I held on for so long, the tightest grip on a tearing reality, the fabric old, decaying
It's very fibres parting, splitting and twisting in a thousand ways.
No savior to pray to, forsaken by all gods.
And the devil?  He was too busy watching the last seconds to make a deal.
I imagined a battle for my soul or its remnants decayed, having been eaten out in life now empty for death
What of death? Oh reaper man where art though this evening? Show yourself!!
Is the bitter cold I feel upon my face as I slip your touch
Be you here now with me?
Should I cry for help?
Would any voice be heard
Or do I travel alone tonight?
This dark dark dark night
Before you think  I'm looking for a rope it's about terminal illness and the minds last thoughts
Micheal Wolf Apr 2020
The view from down the rabbit hole
They say life is a series of moments. Some pivotal some fleeting. The fear in a childs eyes, the despair in the dying, the hope in a birth.
But those moments may happen decades apart. The irony is a single event can play them back all in parallel, simultaneously in a nano second, like a high voltage shock, triggered by anything. Something as simple as looking in a mirror or the sound of a childs cry. Thus it is little wonder sometimes people can just overload and snap. Fall into that mirror, that eternally looped moment. More disrurbing is you may be the trigger, or the stop by a simple word or action.
Micheal Wolf Apr 2016
I can't fix the world
I have tried
Made myself ill trying to fill the voids of poison relationship
Crossed boundaries I would never, to get an answer for a friend
But in the stillness of night the only thing left is nothing
For when you are alone, there is nothing that presents itself that bridges that gap
Loneliness is all and a harsh sorid mistress
Micheal Wolf Mar 2013
Confusion is amok
Emotion runs wild
Reason takes a dive
Heart skips beats
Stomach turns over
Belief is suspended
Love was there
Remember it well
Love that is
It was all
All or nothing
Jealousy it came
It caused havoc
Pain distrust anger
Loneliness hurt dismay
Goodbye was swift
Unexplained not reasoned
Betrayed by another
Confusion is amok
Micheal Wolf Apr 2018
Crashing sensations, tumbled and disjointed, hitting every nerve as they fall.
Burning hot yet cold and empty, all in one breath.
The sensation of being wrapped and trapped, primed to explode, not knowing what will trigger it or will you implode.
Memories play on your minds replay screen, then the future scenarios revealed.
Swim till you stop and simply go under or swing from the branch where the dog walkers find you.
The need to run to a place you can hide, but still love lingers and your soul cries.
All that betrays you and all you have left is a childs smiling face three days a week, or a video call.

Without her anchor
Would you stay here at all?
So tired you feel sick but no longer can sleep, your thoughts makes you angry no solace to see.
Be gone now and leave me never look back, for I died long ago somewhere inside.
Stood at a funeral and jealous of him.
I don't know where Jon went but I know where he'd been.

She said I was ugly
I said she needed more to drink
When she was drunk I was her world
When sober, I was from an alien world
Beer googles and lust lenses
How the alcohol befriended
When its gone the magics passed
Until the next time she's slashed

I walked into the lounge
I wore almost nothing
Fishnets and heels
But HALO was pumping

Next night I  was naked
The candles scented the air
But grand theft auto
Kept him in his chair

I tried it all
Favourite food and beer
But he was a soldier
In an internet dream

One day he came home
I was not there!
I was with another
And game on, oh yes!

So Xbox or play station
Nintendo or pc
When I say it's bedtime
You best listen to me!

For me there was never a time I felt alone.
Lonely sometimes but never alone.
Even when left and treated harshly I could always find solace in music or a hiltop to watch the world go by and lick my wounds.
But the day came when I was truly alone.

I abhor your presence
I look at you and think
WHY?
Why do you exist
You have no purpose
You are an abomination
A pariah
And yet my little friend
You are here
But not to stay
As soon as I can be rid
You shall be gone!!!!

Woke up dead and like yesterday I couldn't remember if I was awake.
All I could see was the past flash by and a Halloween outfit in bed that night.
All I could see was nothing at all everything circles another black hole.
My event horizon is closer each day did I run or push away.
Sometimes I see as clear as day in the darkness of night whilst I'm awake.
So I made mistakes that haunt me now and the black dog reminds me all of the time.
