“Why do I love” You, Sir?
Because—
The Wind does not require the Grass
To answer—Wherefore when He pass
She cannot keep Her place.

Because He knows—and
Do not You—
And We know not—
Enough for Us
The Wisdom it be so—

The Lightning—never asked an Eye
Wherefore it shut—when He was by—
Because He knows it cannot speak—
And reasons not contained—
—Of Talk—
There be—preferred by Daintier Folk—

The Sunrise—Sire—compelleth Me—
Because He’s Sunrise—and I see—
Therefore—Then—
I love Thee—

The saddest noise, the sweetest noise,
  The maddest noise that grows,—
The birds, they make it in the spring,
  At night’s delicious close.

Between the March and April line—
  That magical frontier
Beyond which summer hesitates,
  Almost too heavenly near.

It makes us think of all the dead
  That sauntered with us here,
By separation’s sorcery
  Made cruelly more dear.

It makes us think of what we had,
  And what we now deplore.
We almost wish those siren throats
Would go and sing no more.

An ear can break a human heart
  As quickly as a spear,
We wish the ear had not a heart
  So dangerously near.

Sometimes with the Heart
Seldom with the Soul
Scarcer once with the Might
Few—love at all.

Sin
I played in the moonlight
Last night
My shadow so tall and dark
Enough to stop the heart
Of the bravest of the brave

You see the moonlight
Hides my true self
I can reach out and steal away
Before the crack of day
Does come

Laughing and singing under her glow
The silver moonlight
Is why my heart I'll show
And tears how they run like crystal drops
For my love of her I cannot stop

And so she hides me in her glow
Like I say my shadow knows
How to dance and feel so free
Under that glowing moon
For me

Sin
Come run with me my love of my heart
Dash through the forest and we can bark
Words of love that only we
Can hear above the trees

I'll **** for you lay down my life
Fight the horrid beasts that roam the night
Give you my last drop of blood
To know that only you will live my love

Shelter you away from the cold
Cover you in my pelt so warm
Hunt day and night to feed you now
My wolf angel my hear and now

And one day when we both feel right
Some little cubs may steal the light
And a proud wolf you will see
For I'll have my heaven with thee

His eyes were full of
******
And his smile showed false
Hope

And yet I still
Fell for it
