When the earth
Is in a dreamless soon
When shade covers the world
When mist blinds the night
When stars peep
In the curtain of the sky
When leaves quiver in the wind
Then one out of a million
An insignificant being
Ceases to exist

Searching for someone
As broken as me
I find myself in poetry

The words seem
to speak to me
Consoling me
Giving my life meaning
Till all I see
Is the ashes of papers
Coming down like snow
Till I get buried deep within
Succumbing to the darkness
Searching for someone
as broken as me

In the darkness of the night
With vision blind
I find my reprieve
It waits for me
In my dreams

There there's nothing
To hide
Nowhere to run
I'm safe within the confines
If my mind
And sanity

My sanctuary
There
I can be
Anything I want to be
Do anything
I want to do
There I'm free
Not bound by the chains of reality
I'm limitless

Hands pink and soft
Hands scarred with lines
Running down the length of it's fingers
Yes these hands are mine
They are cold with sweat
And shiver with anticipation
For soon yours they met
And they were forever to be
*'Will you give your hand to me?'

I wish I was a cloud
Floating gracefully by
I wish I was a rainbow
Painting the blue sky
I wish I was rain
Pouring down on earth
I wish I was fire
Warming up the hearth
I wish I was a bird
Soaring in freedoms flight
I wish I was a star
Illuminating the night
I wish I was patient
And endless like the sea
I wish I was
anything
Anybody
But me

I remember the time you asked me
If I still loved you
And I had said after hesitation
I still do
I remember the time you said
You missed the warm look in my eye
You missed the smile and the kiss goodbye
I remember the time where I didn't feel
I remember the time when I forgot this was real
And now I ask you:
Do u remember the time you asked me if I love you ?
Do you remember the time you said
You missed my smile
Do you remember how you missed the hugs and  kiss
Because I remember now
I remember all the things that I'll miss
Is it too late to say what I feel?
Did you too lose sense that this is real?
Because I love you
Do you think you could still love me too?

The rain caresses my hair
And flows down my neck
The rain kisses my lips
The rain touches my fingertips
The rain wraps around me
The rain embraces my skin
The rain wipes away my tears
And washes every sin
The rain fills my heart
The rain is in my soul
The rain makes me fall in love
For everyone to behold
And when the sun shines
And I catch the last drop
I know that the rain can
But my feelings won't stop
