September winds
Have turned lukewarm
Yet a pale sun
Still manages to evince
A crimson warmth
Somehow
September nights
Although kissed by
The cracked lips
Of a cloudy mist
Still manages to
wipe itself
With the distant glow
Of a few scattered
sidereal bodies above
The colors of
spring and summer
Have doubtlessly faded
Into a dark oblivion
And the residual beauty
Of autumn
Is marked by long sunsets
Bleeding into the horizon
Yet the pearly dews
Speckled upon
Radiant sunlit petals
Hasn't turned
Into lumps of frost
Even though the
Frigid breaths of winter
Touches their bare skin
As I open my sleepy eyes
Which makes me
Smile and simply believe
That if not all
Mostly everything
will be
Allright
Somehow
Worries grow faster than grass.

Road of peace
The tranquil poverty
of my soul .

Seeking an atonement
for the souls of the dead
on smoking paths .

Whispered words drift
into the tidal coves
of imagination.
Infinitely sad
the lost echo
of the echo.
A wrecked angel
of honor lost .

With a blade forged
in the fires of
disturbing experiences .
Through the noises
of trying to be quiet .

Lost in you in the shattered rain
I will be your Captain .

Captain of the side channels
the spaces between the
lines of the slow dreams .

She was one who
would be reborn
in a vibrant silence .

An unpredictable
ebb and flow
of rolling thunder
and eerie stillness.
A paradise reeking
of hidden meanings .

Jousting between
the waves and
the timberlands
was the almighty
quiet verb .

“please be naked”

she stands in her doorway wearing just a gown,
I walk in the house, dumbstruck by beauty,
up in her room undoing the bow, the shield simply slides down
caressing her curves, stroking down to the floor,
intertwined bodies craving the touch of the other,
joined as one in the gentle acts of love and lust,
romanticised ideals of perfection and soft rhythm,
delicate groans as two become one,
the broken poet, for the moment, is gone,
my drug addiction of you, just wanting more,
As my heart bleeds, love begins to pour.

“please be naked”.
this poem is influenced by The 1975 instrumental song "please be naked". i regularly think of this song as romanticising the act of *** and the trust required with it rather than what most songs make it today. despite having no lyrics the song speaks volumes to me and id definitely recommend it to anyone. stay safe and live well.
