Dissolve fear

Walked, with purpose, into fire's embrace,unfettered.
Unfazed by the cat calls tossed my way.
Fear, a vanquished foe, lost its trace,
Lingering presence of failure held no sway.
The outcome, a vicious tempest, ceased to chase,
in the depths of experience it dissolved without a trace.

Tender Was The Arms That Held Me

When?
When I'm hurt?
Trying to act brave like I'm not in pain.

I just feel this warmth surrounding me.
Caring for me unselfishly.
I just know tender was the arms (the arms) that held me.

Putting my mind at ease and it's so great having someone to love me.

When I cry?
Yes, tears rolling down my face.
I feel the warmth of hands rubbing them away.

I just know tender was the arms that held me.
And a sweet word of a voice bringing comfort to me.

So tender.
I remember.
