Those who on negativity do dwell;
Who fail to recognise the positive,
Are those whom without we could all do well,
To whom our precious time we should not give.
For 'tis rare they have any good to say
About anyone, indeed anything.
Just ask yourself at the end of the day
What exactly to your life do they bring?
Have we not got enough with which to cope
Without their constant negativity?
To leave them behind is our only hope
Before like them we all turn out to be.
How much happier lives we all could live
If we focused more on the positive.

Never could I imagine a friend who
Could be a better friend to me than you.
There's no better friend in reality;
Best friends forever I hope we shall be.

Sometimes I paint outside the framework.
Because even the perfectionist goes berserk.
Just to let the steam out of the system.

Sometimes I dream that my teeth are falling out.
I never know what that is about.
Only to find myself waking up with the feeling of relief.

Sometimes I stare directly into the burning sun.
It is a battle that I have not yet won.
Perhaps a walking stick will accompany me someday.

Sometimes I run with my old loose shoes.
Only to collide with the ground, leaving me with a blue bruise.
I never seem to learn from my mistakes.

Sometimes I apologize, even if it is not my fault.
But I can take the blame. I am tough as asphalt.
I do not mind to say what others are afraid to admit.

Sometimes I wish I could look in the mirror.
See all the things a little clearer.
To greet my reflection with a smile.

Words found in heart deep
Etched not in memory to keep
World formed in thoughts flow
Failed to ink lost as sand in a wind blow
Seeking it again in heart deep
Few fragment this memory keep
A rhyme lost
Born yet in moment lost
As talent drained from every inch of my mind
I found reading other's work only made me jealous
                   I started to feel unpopular
Not enough ideas left to create anything at all. Not a single drop of inspiration.

As all of theses emotions and realizations mixed together

I became okay with copying your work.

I can imagine you slaving in the dark
Racking your brain to find the perfect words to finish the last line

Lucky for me I have it all right here, completed and ready to post
Finished and polished and prepackaged with a message I didn't think of but everyone will commend me for.

    *I hope you enjoy it.
Not actually plagiarized. Just tired of seeing others plagiarize on here.

It is April Fool’s today
           A day of tricks
           A time for antics

It’s so easy to be pleasant
If your life, flows like a song
But, it’s hard to be so cheerful
If the lyrics, have gone wrong

I’m running from Old Man Time

Struggling hard to stay ahead

Cause if he catches up with me

I know, that I’ll be dead

CYRANO

Oh Cyrano, dear Cyrano
Monsieur, de Bergerac
Your nose was big, yes really big
Immense, “la tabernac”

You stuck it in, a love affair
And wrote, Roxanne some prose
She fell for it, to the extent
That then, she Christian chose

All those years, you pined for her
And wrote Christian, some more
But in the end, it wasn’t him
But the letters, she’d adore

So you were left, without her love
As if, it was to be
And it’s your prose, which did you in
How stupid, could you be

Before Roxanne, realized you lied
A log, did hit your head
You sadly came, to your demise
And your love, remained unsaid

And so, the moral of your story
Now, comes sadly to its close
Remember to be careful
Where you stick, your big fat nose
