i drain him.
i know it.
and still,
i stay.

i say i’m trying,
but really,
i’m cracking.
i’m drowning
with his lungs
in my chest.

next i’ll bleed
through his arms,
sob
through his eyes,
wreck
what’s left
of his heart.

i was never
meant
to be held.
I hardly think about you
Except when the music plays
And I realize that no one else
In the whole wide world
Knows the lyrics
But us...
Once or twice a day is not that much, after all...

As darkness ruled the night basking in the moonlight. With adamant faces trying to control the light. With acrimonious personalities creating bitterness and hostility of the darkest minds. So there hearts were blank laced with hate. Never knowing love until god created woman and man.  But he couldn't stem the envy of money.
This poem is about the envy of the poor while being jealous of the wealthy. The lengths they will go to take the rich precious things away from them.

Isn't it sad
he is the black sheep
of his family
one calls him husband
the others call him Dad.

Strung prose
Like puzzle pieces
Broken across the page
No longer
Im too linear now
For all that
Maybe
Before long
I'll write
Instruction manuals
And think
They're poetic

If time is simply an illusion
A functional interpretation of quantum reality
Then do we not time travel
Each time we remember?
