ghost girl
gently
so gently
you pulled the
threads loose,
set me free

but the relief lasted
barely a moment -
you tied me to
you, chained me,
and even after
you decided
you didn't want me
anymore

you left me
with the shackles
and the bruises
and the empty bed
and the sheets
that still smell
like you.

Is your poetry now dusty,
abandoned on the shelf

Have your dreams become dismissive,
do you live for someone else

Is there mold inside your memory box,
questions all long gone

Do you walk that lonely road alone
—your heart to drag along

Ferret on my lap.
Fur all over my shoulders.
This is what love is.
I love making poetry about my pet ferrets :3
Do you have furrbabies too? Please share me a poem about your dog, cat, bird, ...etc.

one minute phone call.
"i just wanted to hear your voice."
the permanent uneasiness that resides in the pit of my stomach,
i couldn't feel it anymore.
the corners of my lips turned upward.
i said,
"i missed your voice.".

i'm paralyzed
my eyes hurt and i can't stop
the voices inside my head

tell me
which sense does the cure have
when i was comfortable
in my insanity
