“Hi”

BEEZEE
It’s like I’m looking for ways to avoid myself

(I’m looking for ways to not care)

It’s like I’m going around every corner trying to avoid my own stare

It’s like I’m running away from a shadow

(Yet I know it’s always there)

I’m afraid of every part of me I swear…

They want me to love myself???

                      “Say hi!”

  Look in the mask

         There’s blood

                     It’s stained.

Avoiding myself

(a lonely ride)

All of the ways I could

           -complain-

Look to my heart and you’ll see

     (inside it steadily bleeds)

Blood veil drags behind me
                       &
I don’t know how to scream

Every bump is part of the ride

It'd probably be smoother

If I stop running red lights
Long morning roadtrips quite quickly turn introspective

A QUICK WORD
I’ve read some MOVING
WORDS
IN REACTION TO MY POETRY…
I don’t seek FAME…
Just to know that ONE POEM…
Could make another persons…
Wheels TURN A BIT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME… THANKS TO YOU ALL…

Dust motes catch the light
The world sighs in shades of grey
My hand reaches it—
A blue cover, curled edges
One sharp breath, I turn the page
The first in a four-part tanka series inspired by The Inheritance Cycle.
This one marks the beginning: the moment when everything changes.

Watch for the next poem in the collection if you like—each follows a different stage of the journey.

The trick is finding your good name
Inside a pool of doubt and blame
Brought from a notebook pile with free writing exercises that go back around five years full of drafts, fragments, lines I liked and dice scores.

There's safety in wonders, genius near feat
Rest after ruling and love twixt the sheet
Rivers for sailing gifts to the sea
And waves of possibility

The times one's caged for just a little time
Bear heavy moments clear and quite devine
Trifle sought regrets come mercifully
Spirit rising, woe is bended me

One should've done confronting one
Comes straight down ne'er begun
Move the moments love's grown lighter to your gaze
And since I'm not the only one breathe one
The like to love always

Prophesy
A sign from above
Idle hands
Unlocked
Sustainability granted
A carpenter
Builds me a new frame
Of mind
I’ll praise you
Till my last breath
The unfortunate times
I’ll just have to live with
The cost already paid
Healing up the best I can
Unforeseen history
I’m no longer tied too
Quite the transformation
The impact you’ve had on my being
Your dedication
To healing me when I was
At my lowest
Never wavering from your
Prominent position
The promises held dear
They ******* away
Humming bird fluttering
Like a guardian angel
Flying outside my window
Vibrant energy is contagious
Origins all your own
Responsible for my well fare
The hoax was always up
Just took me a while to figure it out
IM IN AWE THAT I CAN…
BRING SOMETHING SO BEAUTIFUL TO LIFE!!! 🙏✍️🤯
