is there a word in your mind
that you'd like to give to me?

a word for me to take to bed
as i spend a sleepless night?

a word for me to cook up
to create some food for thought?

words for me to string together
yours and mine welded in the fire

We know how to be perfect but still we are imperfect
We know the situation but still want to be in confusion
We know how to be brave but still choose to be afraid
We know how to be strong but still are insearch of arms
We know to listen to our conscious but still go for alternate
We know how to smile but still hunt for reasons
We know the sadness inside is due to our insight
We know we are special but still want to hear
We know the desires are endless but still we are reluctant..

DieingEmbers
My love for you knows no boundaries
nor border guards with hastened shouts
for my heart forged in foundries
from sheer trust and carefree doubts

Let them levy heavy tax and toll
They'll ner' stop me getting through
for I must be where er' thy soul
for my heart longs to fly to you

Speak not of laws and reasoned thought
make no excuse that sounds like fact
for I must find what I've long sought
and on this need I need now act

So let them lower barriers down
and set up here their ****** blockade
I'll always find a way around
for my heart once sent cannot be staid

Prepare for war ye whom would stop me
be sure of this I'll win these fights
for over there lies liberty
and an end to all my lonely nights

So Take up arms increase thy number
imprison rights with red tape bars
but justice wakes from enforced slumber
as moon let's rain her falling stars

No boundaries no Borders hold me
when I can call upon your heart
to meet me where no one can stop thee
where we are one er' when apart.

So come to me and let me know this
that you would too break down their Walls
sign this treaty with thy sweet kiss
and hear my heart when er' it calls

Robert Herrick
Have ye beheld (with much delight)
A red rose peeping through a white?
Or else a cherry (double graced)
Within a lily? Centre placed?
Or ever marked the pretty beam
A strawberry shows half drowned in cream?
Or seen rich rubies blushing through
A pure smooth pearl, and orient too?
So like to this, nay all the rest,
Is each neat niplet of her breast.
long long ago
your verses did decline
an invitation to ******
to merge with mine
no loss was made no profit forgone
except the one that stayed unborn

your verse became a voice unbound
testing waters deep within
blowing hot blowing warm
underwater treasure newly found
in the collective it went for a swim
I wait at the shore lamp in hand

verse and voice are not enough
the fire within needs a touch
gathering words on the beach
unbidden within seashells hidden
mindful the hunters crouch
i the gladly hunted am so much

To Daddy

Marian
Why art thou so sad, dear Daddy?
I makes me sad to see you this way, little laddie,
He writes about sad and gloom,
It makes me want to escape to my room.

It may not be so bad,
But still to see him writing about death makes me sad,
I write about light, sunshine, and sunrays;
While he writes about funreals, knells and lays.

Cheer up, dear Daddy,
There is still sunshine, little laddie,
There is sunshine for you;
Under skies of royal blue!

*~Marian~
For my Daddy, Timothy who I hope can start writing poems of brightness, sunshine, light, and sunrays.

Jesus is alive,
Just as real as you or me,
Put your trust in Him!

Don't think it is too late! Believe in God today because when the world ends and we stand before judgement seat and God will say to the sheep on His right side "Come ye blessed enter in to life everlasting" and say to the goats on His left side "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." (See Matthew 25 in the Holy Bible.) Which will you choose? I you're the sheep you will go to Heaven. If you're the goats you'll be put into Hell. Then your chance for redemption will be too late.
Which will you choose?

Math
Numbers
The only things everyone
And everything have in common
You can find mathematical proofs written
In between the stars
Numerical sequences hiding beneath a fern
That unfurls to reach the heavens
No one can deny, one will always equal one
And the sum of two numbers will never change
Truths remain truths no matter the language
I can't see how my friends can say 'I hate math'
Or how people say 'numbers are stupid'
Numbers and math comprise the essence of life
On another planet the number pi and
Sierpinski's triangle may have different names
But their rules remain the same
Math and numbers make up geometry
Which is full of tesselations, and fractals
And beautiful diagrams and principles
How can you not love something like the
Golden Ratio, or the Fibonacci sequence?
They provide the curl of a fern, the twist of
A snail's shell, the spiral of a pineapple
And rotation of axial leaves
Such a beautiful, never changing system
That appears in so so many forms
Why be bored when you can play with fractal-y
Tesselating doodles?
And don't even get me started on science...
