Afternoon delight developed into all night long
Time for air and water
Be gracious, grateful, incredibly warm and loving
Above all enjoy each other
In the middle of the night or all night long

You can visit yesterday but don't dwell on it
Leave it as it is and move forward
Learn from it as you do your mistakes
Enjoying yourself has to become a priority
It's not selfish,it's selfless
Makes you better for others that matter
Makes you a better human being
You know what you need and want
If you are still searching
Looking for something more
Enjoy the journey at every turn
''Tiswas a lovely lark in the park this mid day
Crap coffee  at the fountain cafe
Hippy busking the standards
Every now and then
Slipping in one of his own tunes
And that's the mark
Cos he wants to know soon
If the stuff he spews is worth a second listen
He trills off everyone who stops
To stop and listen
He thinks that this could be his mission
And he wasent bad.

The old man
drifted into memories—
technicolour visions
of a young farmhand,
naked to the waist.

Sweat added a glossy shine
to an already impressive torso.
Mary, the land owner's daughter,
gazed longingly at her fancy,
then approached, offering
homemade lemonade.

He nodded thanks,
drinking the glass down
into his empty,
thirsting stomach.
They both smiled.

Slipping from the memory,
the old man
closed his eyes,
took a final breath,

and then
once again —
tasted lemonade.
