Why do women chose to give so much?

But there is also pain.

These pains that keep the world awakening,
Rising, falling, day by day.

Their vulnerability is their strength.
For they are human despite the fear,
Despite the haunted dreams.

They are not cowards.

Men rest when there aren’t battles to be won.

Yet she runs to the forefront, again and again,
Protecting.

There is a courage to be wonted,
A fearlessness you see radiating from within her soul.

Mother, wife, sister, daughter.
Titles.

Yet wonder has it,
She is woman.

Too many people don't think,
Too many people don't understand,
And a huge amount of people wrongly think, that they understand.

To this day,
your name
still hurts my tongue
but I still say it anyway.
Sometimes I like to
hear my soul
gently tear itself
apart.

He saved my life,
but he couldn't save his own,
He risked his life,
To be where he was goin,
5 pills took his life away,
5 pills and bein drunk won,
Now I stand at his grave,
Here lies my cousin,
Who was only 17.
