Ink Heart
We’re more alike
than what we think
I certainly didn’t have to blink,
I already knew my heart
was made of ink.

Ink that helps me trace
words almost extinct.
In this community
Problems don’t shrink,
But our strength doesn’t sink.
Writing is not a hobby, it’s a way of life ✨✨
The secret of life is:
fall 10 times and get up 20.

Too bad
After narcissist and life
Were torn apart,
A flower was born
Form the depths of his heart.

The lake in which he fell
Cried, cried and cried.
Oh lake! Why are you crying?
“Because Narcissist has died.”

Oh that’s right. He was beautiful
Wasn’t he?
“Pardon me?” Said the lake.
“I never knew.”
Every morning he came to you.

How could you not?!
“I never paid attention.
I didn’t know he was hot.”
Well then why do you sob?

“I looked at him
And he looked at me.
But all we could see
Was our own beauty.”

Too bad he only saw a mirror
And never saw a lake.
Too bad you only saw a reflection
And never his pretty face.
—both of you would’ve been amazed…

Sometimes
Sometimes I feel like a hero.
And then I feel like crap.
Sometimes I feel like a zero.
And then I feel like I’m all that.

Sometimes I want to be with friends,
Be part of something.
Sometimes I want to be alone,
And go star gazing.

Sometimes we’re too much.
Sometimes we’re not enough.
But we’re always amazing…
A mistake does not define you. A good action doesn’t make you a God. But it’s all those “sometimes” that make you, YOU.

Dry tears
Dry tears go down her cheeks,
She wipes some, others still sneak
Down her skin and downriver.

If only I could give her
A reason her collar stays dry.
If only I could tell her why,
Life forces weakness goodbye.

Why else would she laugh,
When she wants to cry?
Why else would she rise,
When she wants to fall?

As she gasps to breathe—
because crying steals the air.
She turns around and sees
That life just isn’t fair.

If only she knew,
dry tears are real,
She knows all,
yet not her own fear.

If only she knew,
we share the dream:
That every person,
should have a gleam.

She doesn’t know that,
she stands to help.
She doesn’t know that,
She laughs to cry,
Her tears are dry,
And still she tries.
As I stand at the edge
Of the unknown,
I really, really, truly,
Want to go home.

Have I wasted my time
Chasing things I can’t reach?
Perhaps I’m fine—
Except it’s all bleached.

My eyes and my mind
Feel covered in bleach.
My path I shall find
In somewhere distinct.

Have I speed up the clock,
Doing things I should’ve not?
I’m only thirteen
So why bother at all?
Sometimes I go too fast.
Maybe you do too.
Slow down…

Orchid
Like a lonely orchid,
Dancing in the snow
It’s purple petals,
Denying to let go.

You always prevail, prevail, prevail
Your tenacity never seems to fail.

How come, the cold
Hasn’t torn you apart?
Why do you always
Deceive your heart?

You say there’s light
When it’s cold and dark
The memory of warmth,
Keeps you alive.

Life is Bitter
Life is bitter
Life is bitter.
"Hate the sin,
But love the sinner."

You're aggravated
You're devastated.
Who's there to blame?
You blame yourself
For not being the same.

It wasn't their fault
You loved more.
It wasn't their fault
You cared more.

You understand
You don't resent.

Life is bitter,
But still sweet.

Because you're in it...
Because of our big hearts, a lot of us have trouble. Am I wrong?

Humans
A poem so long,
A poem so short.
A poem of love,
A poem of hate.

A poem above,
All that's fake.
A poem that debates
A poem with sake.

Why do humans complicate,
things that should not be?
Is it because we're humans?
Doing things that are wrong,
And still pretend to be superman.

Is it because we can't bare
Doing things that are right,
And still be treated unfair?
Humans, humans, humans, we're hilarious. Aren't we? (In a good, and bad way. Depends on you which one you chose.)

I Beg
That’s not where
it went wrong

People hurt,
Loving hurts,
Caring hurts.

But please, I beg
But please, I plead.
Keep going…

Keep caring,
Keep loving.

You’re not one to fit
But you’re not the flaw.
Don’t over think it
Because you’re worth all.
Trusting, loving, caring for someone is not the problem. The problem is, after falling, we hide ourselves, because it hurts. But don’t hide the sun that’s meant to shine. Know you’re worth✨

Good Morning
Good night, wry smile.
Let your poker face rest.
This might take a while,
But come back to sense.

Bring back that you,
Who falls once, falls twice
and still tries.
Bring back that you,
You’re a pearl of great value.

Good night good night,
Protective script.
You’re a warrior of light,
So act like it.

Please say good night,
Or at least say good morning.
To those dreams still hoping,
Hoping that one day,
You’ll wake up.

But if you don’t say
good night, good morning,
When is that day gonna come?
Give your self a break, from whatever it is you’re doing. Feel peace with those around you and yourself. At least for a brief moment, when the sun is rising, or the moon coming.

Let Them

Lotus, let your petals fall,
One by one until you loose them all.

Butterfly, waste your ten days of life
Do not migrate, don’t try to thrive.

Bird, don’t fly, don’t dare to try
To reach for the vast open sky.
Stay nearby, please abide.

Child, don’t grow, don’t seek to know
What will happen if you let go
Just a little of that rope.

One that so tight you hold
Why are you taking their hope
To be better, to break the mold?

Let them be better than you

Let them fall and rise,
Let them win and loose

You did you
Let them
Beat you.
Parents who aren’t bad, but who don’t understand. A little push from me— hope it helps you, super parents✨✨
