Some days, I avoid the mirror,
as if its glass might speak.
As if it might tell me all the things
I already whisper to myself.

I tug at fabric, shift my stance,
try to fit into spaces
that never seem meant for me.
Like I’m always too much, or not enough.

I trace the outlines of who I wish I was,
sketching softness into strength,
erasing the parts I’ve learned to hide,
as if beauty is something I have to earn.

But I am not a mistake,
not a problem to be solved.
I am a story still being written,
a masterpiece still in progress.

I think it’s gotten to the point
Where only poetry can save me

He’s playful,
He’s charming.
A knight for all the darlings.

Yet sweet,
And kind!
And knows what's on your mind.

A leader,
When needed.
Facing challenges with his calm.

A master with swords,
And a wielder of words.
A master of both worlds.

Knows how to make me smile
Laugh,
And feel loved.

A knight in shining armour,
For me to call my own.

I hate how I don't eat breakfast in the morning
Now, I'm stuck here with my stomach grumbling
My throat hurting
With every breath I take
My stomach's life is at stake

All I can ask is... Can I please eat my snacks in your class? 🥺

Saying "Sorry!" After every stab!
Pulling out your organs after every grab!
