Long lines looped the carousel
the first time you gazed my eye,
mounted on that chestnut mare,
grasped tight to the reigns up high.

I see his face around the bend,
a corn dog in his hand.
Locking eyes as I rise. I blush,
above the crowd he stands.

Light flickers, mouths water
delicate contoured lips laugh. I smile.
The music hesitates along with my breath.
I think I'll be staying awhile.

Bewildered and a little dizzy,
I dismount with a giggle.
I lick my dry lips, dreamily,
hoping he is single.

With the wind, a light mist blows.
I can see her slowly get wet,
stumbling she falls my way.
I'm excited, this day isn't over yet

Drip, drip, drip upon my face,
anxiously, I turn to hurry.
In my haste, he catches my waist
swallowing... I fall covertly.

Lips moisten, I pull her near
a kiss, slipped, tongues twirl,
wanton whispers whisked away,
drenched deep passion's unfurl.

A stranger's kiss upon my lips
beneath the dreary skies.
Soaking wet, I'm still on fire
He caught me by surprise.

A stranger's kiss upon my lips
beneath the queching skies.
Heaven sent, a burning desire;
she, such a welcomed surprise.

*You made the dark veil
around my heart
open and burst with love
when you held my scars
and declared them beauty
//On love//
I recently met an amazing person on here who I grew close with. They make me happy for the first time in a long, long time. Totally disarmed me. So I dedicate this to my beautiful friend. You know who you are.
It was there, on that old log where she sat
under the trees cover, she talked to the moon
where she told him, I cause my own pain
as the wind quietly hummed her favorite tune.

She said,

The scars I bare are not just from the hands of others
not all are caused by the hurtful thundering rain
some are caused because I love too deeply
on that old log, she told him, I cause my own pain.

She said,

I cause my own pain, because I feel too deeply
I’ve loved when I shouldn’t have, way too much
I’ve longed for, dreamed of, desired for
just one certain, from just one…. A touch…..

She said,

To the tearing moon, I cause my own pain…….

The moon said, to Her

It was there, on that old log where you sat
while the wind hummed, your favorite song
that I touched you, ever so gently with light
to lead you in the direction, where you belong.

He said to her…

I touched you ever so gently with my light
to lead you to a heart, like you’ve never known
one, who like you has loved and felt deeply
who knows pain but also, the love you have shown.

He said to her…

Tis true you’ve longed for, dreamed of, desired for
but you’ve also given, and loved so very much
I’ve touched you, ever so gently with my light
so that you can feel, just one certain, from just one….

His touch….

I woke up middle of a dark night
a black and white cat on top of the refrigerator
three dogs  needing out
my love far away sleeping
I petted the cat put the
dogs out
and thought hard of her way up there
sleeping
I wanted to connect with her mentally
I thought of the songs we both like
heard her sweet voice echo
in the cool night air
lit up a cigarette thinking how
long can two months be
how far is Minnesota
how soft is her cheek
how I think of her in my sleep
and I slept then
satisfied almost
counting sheep
as the days until

there stand  me in her shine
proud as the water drips from icicles
she warm
she my sun
I stand up
and claim
how me I has never
been more certainly
dripping
with tears
of ice melting joy
or heart thumping tall
and I sing constantly
jump headlong forward
into her way and shout
I am yours
bright sun
warming eternity
night reflections  of a moon that smiles
at us
like we are in love

where the most importance resides on
the meadow
rise
in apparent
glaring
I saw
her eyes
took several decades and wrong turns where
until I found that there
her being life
an angel you might call
her, yet flesh and blood,
and heart
and soul  so much
in tune with my
song
my lungs called her name for many years
sang out searching for her eyes
and did not know she had been
answering
all the time
along
in
a way
I refused to hear

And now,
like newness and hope and heaven
we sing together

it is my dream to call the eagles down
with a word
to say how crystal is the river
like a diamond shimmers
in the sun
feel deeper the most tall
hills
take a flower into imagination
and taste it
shake the earth like
I am its creator
make  a psalm
a tribute
to every bit of beauty
her smile
a forest
the forest
her green eyes
her eyes reflecting
a blue sky
her  depth
her magnitude her love
the oceans
She comes to him
  while he dreams
     floating down
       upon
         moonlit
            beams
to lay upon him
kisses so sweet
for she loves him
so very deep.

              With her loving
               embracing light
                  she wraps
                around him
               holding tight
                    within
                  her eyes
            he sees her love
          as the stars witness
         from the skies above.

He reaches for her
to gently place
the sweetest kiss
upon her crying face
he caresses
her body
while touching
her soul
as together they become
of one whole.

          The love they create
            so deep and true
        from the dusk of night
        til mornings first dew
when all is done and all is said
            upon his chest
         she lays her head
     hearing his heart beat
            for her alone
     a greater love
                     she's never known.
Touching my
heart making
it
whole
spilling your
ink
deep in my
soul
beautiful colors
sparkling hues
bonding connections
love so true
a web weaved
love and desire
tangling of threads
beauty and fire
always moving
twisting and turning
forever entwining
hearts touching
forever burning
touching my
heart making
it
whole
by spilling your
ink
deep in my
soul.
