Mims
Fall asleep in my lap like tangled jewelry,
I don't know where you begin,
And I end,
And it doesn't matter really.
The TV glows,
harry potter fight scenes
Or
some random 80s movie
'Cause I love those.

Lace your fingers,
And my fingers,
And your toes,
In my toes,
I'll put my head on your shoulder,
And you'll inhale slowly,

You play with my hair,
And I'll tell you,
You don't really know me.
I feel like almost no one has ever really known me

Not every tree
has the deepest of roots
Not every leaf
belongs on the shoots
Not every petal
unfurls to reveal the truth
Not every flowering plant
will bear the same fruit

Not every bud
will necessarily bloom

And that's the harsh truth of life
In one of my discussions with a friend, I was reminded of this theory that says everything in life is by default designed for doom. I cannot recollect the name of that theory...anyone?

Star BG
Sun’s sweet rays, shine upon
to open bruise of heart
Let your streaks of warmth
call cells to heal.

Sun oh suns sweet beams
open up my inner cells.
Let my inner self be quenched
by hugs of rays.

Let me feel your strength
so I can heal.
Heal and then I’ll float away.

Woke up with it. First poem of day.
I wear black all the time
I just dyed my natural blonde
To a black so dark
It almost looks deep blue
I love the color black
Its has such beauty
That most people don't seem to see
They see black and think goth
Or they think emo
Or even just think it looks stupid
But I look at black
And see the way the light glances off of it
I see how extra shiny black surfaces look
I love how my black hair darkness my whole face
I love the tough look black things give you
I love the sophistication
Of an all black outfit
I see depth to the color black
And that's why I like it
Because there is more to it
Than what you see at first glance
Just like many people
You glance at who they are
And how they act
And you assume you see it all
But the villains story
Is often just a victims story
Left untold for far too long.
Black is a beautiful color even if it often represents darkness and pain, you can find beauty in the strangest places, if you are just willing to look.

See the commitment
not the love,
The cage is open
but no bird flies.

Passed all
the seasons in this life,
The rainy season
stuck in the eyes.

Ended the dreamy
day's celebration,
In loneliness,
the deadly night cries.

No words left
to write poetry,
Just read
the soul's silent sighs...
Just an imagination

The pain persists
Someone still exists...
