Poetry First
why close
    the petals of your heart
       or shrivel in gloom
        bury the worries
         to inhale sacred
         scents of earth
            touched be
        by comely smiles
        of blooming lilies
           and struck be
        by delightful notes
              of robins
         perched on trees
           shines 'pon us
          the sun glorious
         our precious jewel
         of radiant warmth
     abundant peace to seek
         for our weary being
    under the protective shed
        with twinkling stars
a rather simple poem to remind ourselves of joys of nature, something which is becoming increasingly alien to most of us in our daily living. wrote this when struck by an urge to run away from the concrete jungle into the woods :)
FALL
is
My
SPRING
It calls my heart
To a synergistic ring
A burst of energy
Comes forth within me
Motivating me to do
What some may label
Spring clean
In the fall
Best season of
The year of all

Walking along the beach
feeling such an amazing breeze.
My hand takes an outreach
and hangs on to yours.
We look at each other close
and turn around watch the sun
lowering as it goes.
Such a magical moment with you
watching the sunset bloom.
Pink and orange hits the sky so blue
and now a gorgeous night will come.

Up the stairs
she would climb
Into the attic
at night-time.
Her little legs
crawled up each stair
and soon she discovered
what was up there.
Antiques from all kinds
of things she had never seen.
The attic was quite dusty
as if it had never been cleaned.
She scattered through every box
and discovered a trunk.
She searched for a key
and found one under some junk.
She opened it to find a photo
of someone with her.
She looked closely.
The person was unfamiliar.

I got thoughts
walking down a street
i see
neon
women
barber poles red white
lingerie shops
most of them ******
long tall Sally's in skirts
strong structures tall
svelte windowed like
covergirls
ice cream cone taking licking
x rated things
I must be liberated
once I got turned on
ordering tacos
at this Mexican restaurant
I liked her accent

I think of you
when the water begins
its fall
from the sky.
Of how you flooded
my eyes,
made sure my willing heart
swelled with your words.
I let you take what you wanted,
maybe what you needed
even
and gave you more,
but not enough for you
who wanted less than nothing.
Wrote this 8-31. Thought it was incomplete...but maybe it's not.
