Lying on ones side
The moon gave me a big smile
So I smiled back
It does look like a smile :-)
Inspired from seeing quarter moon a few weeks ago whilst driving home from work :)

kahel
rough night,
city lights,
you on my sight,
no more,
no less,
trapped in horizon,
bumper to bumper,
slowly eating time,
so i hold your hand,
tracing all the lines,
in your palm,
until it connects with mine,
so deep,
it reaches your soul,
head on your chest,
listening to your favorite songs,
while i explore every maze of your heart,
every pound,
every rhythm,
every word it speaks,
there's one thing we're sure of,
its our love,
its our fight.
I will hold you and never let go.

Autumn,
is upon us tweaking our senses
as weather changes
and closets are shifted to heavy wool.

Leaves adorned in brilliant tapestry
paint pictures for eyes,
as crickets end their seasons song
below the winter solstices.

Crows echo,
with a hello Winter
urging self to decloak closet with tall boots.

Chill stings,
making self wish for one last day to dance
in summers grip.

Suddenly,
Indian Summer appears to tease
as  heavy clothes stay hung in closet one last time.
As prayer for a precious days gift
is whispered inside new seasons dream.

A dream,
that perhaps
this continent of North America
will have a mild winter.
Just thinking about change of season.
