Though the rooms of her heart might be shattered
Her strong will and majestic grace remains resolute
She bore the remnants of ochre like tattoos on the walls of her body
As she cradled humanity's first born with promise
Her eyes bore the ravages of battles lost
Yet her reserves will lead us into the future as a blueprint from the beginning
And she will be called the matriarch angel of the universe
I profess to stay at home
when butterfly days calls
i am afraid of love
a mere coward
unchancing his luck

Through the rain
A burning dove
Sings of the pain
Unrequited love
To all of you that know this pain, you'll also know that burning sensation keeps you warm.

He didn't say goodbye to me
As he closed his eyes for the last time
And fell asleep in an eternal dream
A state that is far more sublime

He didn't even thank me
For giving him a home
Or providing him food and water
Sharing what I owned

I walked with him
Talked to him
Pet his hairy head

I lived with him
Stayed with him
And this is what he said

"Hi owner, how's it going
I owe to you quite a bit
But I'm a dog so I can't do much
Except maybe fetch or sit

Instead, I'll remember
The nice things we did
Together while I lived

I'm going to go
And I won't return
But I'll leave with you a gift

It's all the cool fun memories
Those things inside your head
That you sometimes think about
When you're alone or before you go to bed

And even though it's not a lot
I'd like to let you understand
That it was a blast being by your side

And that I hope I was a good friend"

And as I looked at myself in the mirror,
I no longer felt like anyone.
Like my body was just someone I invaded,
like my soul was apart of something else
something bigger.
I felt scared but I also like felt nothing at the same time.
And in that moment I looked at myself, into my eyes and no longer saw me, but a figure of my imagination
standing their impersonating me....

I use my eyes to gaze on beauty
My mouth to say hello
North and South my teeth bring a smile
A wink to let you know

I use my shoulders when I'm shrugging
Both my arms for might
These two hands help me grab
When I need to hold on tight

My ears are here to listen
To other noises people make
A heart that beats forgiveness
Though not as much as I would like

A belly that often grumbles
Until it's satisfied
And if truth be known the same thing goes
For the inner workings of my mind

Then there's my knees that bend with ease
When my backside needs a break
And last but not least here come my feet
As I move along my way...
