Hey hon, I know you're right,
And I'm sorry it took me this long to accept it.
You are my light in the dark night,
And I know I'm not enough for you I admit.

I can't compete with your beauty I know that's true,
And it's okay if he is worthy to hold you near.
I'll hold the thought of you though it is askew,
Be happy, I'll disappear, but if you need me I'll appear.

With you, it was a movie I can't deny,
It ended with a twist, I wish I could write our fate, not just these lines of prose.
Your presence is gone, but a tape full of memories to comply,
My lens still captures your gaze, and I'm waiting for it to dispose.

Should I stay, as I promised, though you’ve long been gone?
Or drown in this void, would letting go be wrong?

Here I am, sitting in the corner of my room,
A place that’s slowly becoming my tomb.
Dark but cozy, similar to a womb,
No sign of light; it feels like my gloom.
Thoughts consume me, no sign of bloom,
Losing my horizon—could this be my doom?

Laughter Is gone, like a heart,
The echoes are fading, like love.
White dove turns to black dove,
Not a sign coming from above.

A hole in my heart was shoved,
Stopped bleeding, no need for gloves.
Spending years with drowned doves,
Engulfed by darkness, void devours.

I'm the bat of my thoughts,
bruised but man, a Camazotz.
So I embrace my darkness until sunrise,
My thoughts cascade like rain,
I watch them sometimes.
I fight like a knight just to save it all,
In the end, it all collapses when I rhyme.

So I remain in my tomb,
Searching for a horizon beyond my doom.
The other side can’t bring gloom;
I believe there, I will find bloom.

You show me light with peace,
Fading my darkness, illuminating my fate.
It’s you who breathe,
Yet my heart pumps blood.

Do you push me out
When I breathe you in?
You are the end of me, my telomeres—
My structure, my youthfulness.
You are my wings;
With you, I touch the blue vastness.

In your presence, I feel heavenly.
If the sun blocks your way to heaven,
I will be your Icarus,
Devouring the sun.

And there was a fall from my eyes;
I write your name with each drop—
A secret only I can read.

I dive into your ocean,
And the blue reflects on me.
I’ll swim your tides,
Even through the fiercest storm.

Your eyes pull me in—
I’m your cult force,
Born of your string of gravity.

The fabric of space and time on your skin
Bends my knees,
A place where even light cannot escape.

A brighter future awaits us—
Is this the beginning of everything?

Your lips, an instrument of serenity,
Guide me to your divinity.
We are doves, soaring through the sky,
Searching for a peaceful sigh.

When you hold me close,
I find my gateway to heaven.
We’ll venture beyond reach together;
If you fall, my arms will catch you.

We are two stars colliding,
Bursting into a red nova.
The particles we leave behind
Are the remnants of our gaze.
