No calls, no messages
I'm doubting if this love is still intact

We used to talk for hours
Now, love has gone sour
Your voice used to be my source of power
Now, It's vanished like a burnt flower.

Sometimes, I find my quiet spot within the crowd
'cause when I'm by myself, the silence is too loud
Voices in my head like a shattering glass wall
Usually hard to choose whose side to be on

When good and bad thoughts are engaged in a war
A war on who is going to have my attention
Each voice yelling, trying to pull me in like suction
Each wanting me to pledge my allegiance

I can't deny the build up of tension
On every nerve, muscle and vein
I'm well aware that one feels good for a moment
But the end of it is vain

Denying those bad voices feels like a pain
Especially when I think about the immediate gain
Multiple drivers trying to drive the same car at the same time
A situation I call, tug of war of the mind

To love, is what we are born with
To hate is what we are somehow taught to do
Isn't it amazing how babies cry at the cry of another baby
Regardless of race or gender
(Do they even notice a difference)

Our differences is what we are taught to observe
Mechanisms set up to set us apart
Color, religion, class, gender
Caging ourselves into unnecessary boxes

The reality is...
The love we were born with never dies
It's somewhere hidden in our hearts
We have only chosen to ignore it
But deep down, we are all yearning for it
Maybe it's time we let love dominate!

Pay back meanness
with kindness
and let the person's
conscience
do the
judgement.

She was a kind woman
He was the exact opposite
An angel in a human flesh, she was
But he was a wolf in a sheep's skin
She would go out of her way to help people
But he always took advantage of people
She never tried to change him
She just loved him unconditionally
Her nature was a mirror to his cruelty
He couldn't help but cherish her modesty
One night, he was bathed in tears
After realizing what **** of a person he was
That moment was the genesis of his redemption
He became a changed man
And the love between them blossomed even more
In less than a year after,
He was bold enough to put the ring on it
And they lived happily ever after!

Love in its purest form
In liquid and easy-flowing state

Love flows in my bloodstream
Nourishing every part of my being
Love is the air I breathe
The sound in every word I speak

Love is the power within
The radiance of my skin
Love is the seed
Planted in every fibre of my being

It's a conscious decision I made
not to imprison myself
In the things beyond my control
Negative emotions will be itching to show
But I allow positive feelings overthrow

When things or people try to litter my day
I literally point them to the trash bin
I guess it's okay to be angry
But more importantly not to sin
Words carry energy, so I censor what I say

Ever since I found a driver in destiny
That's the only vehicle I've been riding in
I ensure comparison never rides with me
'cause jealousy is nothing but an enemy
My own life and path, I want to gain mastery

I am unique and there can never be another me
Losing that uniqueness leads to misery
I'll rather work on being a better me

My wiper is always working
Just to keep my visions clear
Like-minded people
Are the only ones I keep near
Regardless where I face, I'm always forward-looking

Even the world's best soccer player
Once missed a goal
Thinking of quitting, that's a NO!

But really, we were creating memories
Too sweet to forget

Isn't it weird that the good you do
are written by them with a pencil
But when you commit an error,
they are quick to write that with a
permanent marker

Have you seen the products of a broken family?
It's not unusual to see a major or subtle effects on the kids
Like in the US, where a lot of fathers are locked in the penitentiary
The kids make their way to the streets,
Getting their first charge before age of seventeen
Become a father/mother before nineteen

When the fathers are gone,
the home become unstable
The mothers work like crazy
The kids carry the most burden
Dear fathers, at all cost
Ensure to stand by your family.

The reason for the season is not Santa
Lights, trees & gifts are beautiful things
But beyond those is something far better...
Christmas marks the birthday of the King

The King that washed off all our sins
Turned us from darkness into Holy beings
Set us free and gave to us life eternal
Brought us into union with our Father

The best gift to give is the Gospel
The best gift to receive is salvation
Jesus was born to save God's people
And He did, this is good news...

The night we kissed in the rain
It washed off all of my pain

I suggest we drop attitudes that break bonds

That's why I employ the ink of actions
