She isn’t just sweet —
she’s beautiful in a quiet way,
soft in presence,
loud in meaning.

Her smile doesn’t just shine —
it lingers,
speaks,
says more than words ever could.

At first, it was my eyes —
they saw her.
Then my mind —
it wondered,
it wandered,
it stayed.

But my heart…
my heart fell for her
in the way love truly happens —
not with logic,
not with sight,
but with something deeper.

Like Shakespeare once said:
“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind;
and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.”

And so it was with her —
I didn’t choose it.
Love chose me.
And it chose her.
A poem to her

Beneath a sky of ash and flame,
The knight stands tall—though none recall his name.
His armor cracked, his banner torn,
A soul worn thin from battles borne.

He’s lost the war within his chest,
The ghosts have robbed him of his rest.
Yet here he stands, sword in hand,
One man alone to guard the land.

Not for glory, not for pride,
But for the ones who live and hide—
The child behind the cottage door,
The grieving heart he fought before.

His knees may shake, his breath may slow,
His blood may warm the earth below,
But still he lifts his gaze above,
Fueled by honor, bound by love.

He whispers prayers with every swing,
To saints and stars and unseen things.
Each strike a vow, each wound a hymn—
To serve until the light grows dim.

And when at last his strength is gone,
He does not cry, he does not mourn.
He smiles beneath the crimson rain—
For peace has come, and not in vain.

In heaven’s field, where angels tread,
He lays his sword and bows his head.
No longer fighting, lost or cursed—
He kept them safe. He died with worth.

Many thoughts come late at night—
Voices echo, clouding light.
I don’t know what to do anymore;
Maybe the voices will win this war.

I’m tired, I’m scared, confused inside—
In this life, I feel misaligned.
But as time begins to slow,
A quiet truth begins to grow.

My thoughts, once loud, now start to clear.
The voices fade; they disappear.
And as I slowly open my eyes,
I’m in heaven—with my Lord—
serving Him beyond the skies.

Soft the steps, the floor gives way,
We move like dusk to end of day.
No golden dress, no silver thread—
But light surrounds the words you said.

You pull me close, not with your hand,
But with a calm I understand.
The world could fade, the lights could die,
But in your soul, the stars still lie.

No crown, no coin, no fleeting face,
Just rhythm carved from quiet grace.
Your laughter hums, a gentle tune,
That stirs my heart like tide and moon.

We dance not bound by time or skin,
But by the fire that burns within.
And though the night may lose its spark,
Your spirit shines inside the dark.

So let them chase the diamond glow,
I'll hold the warmth you always show.
For beauty fades, and riches fall—
But soul to soul, we have it all.
Was listening to golden brown from the strangles and took me a bit too write 😭

Oh, my heart aches with longing,
For this moment, sweet and true,
It yearns to twirl in time with you,
Our souls, entwined as one.

The stars above us, like silver fire,
Guide our steps through the velvet night,
Not as lovers, but as partners bound,
In a dance of love, so pure, so bright.

Our hearts, like ancient oaths, unbroken,
Embrace beneath the moon’s soft glow.
Your eyes meet mine—our worlds erased,
In a waltz where time dares not go.

My love, my soul, you are my tether,
And in your arms, I’ll find my place,
Until the end, through every age,
Our dance shall never lose its grace.
Once friends made lovers

My Dearest Love,

By the time this reaches you,
I will be far from your side,
Wrapped in the heat of battle,
Fighting for a promise I made,
One that I intend to keep.

I know you wait for me,
With hope in your heart,
But I fear I will not return
As the man you dreamt of,
Or the knight you knew.
The blood of war has stained me,
And the weight of swords is heavy on my soul.

Yet, I fight—for you,
For the love that we share,
For the life we’ve yet to live.
I fight with the strength
That you’ve given me in your smile,
In your gentle words,
In the vision of your face
That haunts me in the quiet moments.

The battle rages around me,
The sound of clashing steel,
The cries of men fallen
And the roar of the enemy’s wrath.
But my thoughts are only of you,
Of the life we will build when this ends.

Should fate be unkind,
And I am lost in the shadow of this war,
Know that I fought until the bitter end,
For you, for us,
For a future that will never come—
Not here, not in this world,
But in the dream that lives between us.

If my name is spoken on the wind,
It will be the sound of my love for you,
A love that never fades,
A love that remains in the heart of the fight,
In the very air I breathe,
Until my last breath escapes.

Until we meet again,
I will carry you with me,
In every swing of my sword,
In every beat of my heart.

Forever yours,
Your Knight

For days and months,
Courage wanes, flickers out,
As if it was never meant to stay.
It takes every ounce of will
To live a life that feels foreign,
Like a road not paved for me.

I dream of other eras,
Of worlds where knights and kings
Guarded queens and people,
Protecting what truly mattered,
With honor and strength.

But dreams are fleeting,
Like the soft breath of the night—
Gone with the light of dawn.
When the moon rises,
I feel her glow warm my heart,
And think of a light
That shields from all that’s dark.

Yet when the sun claims the sky,
The magic slips away,
And I awaken,
A soul misplaced,
Wandering in the wrong time.
I’m a traveler without a map,
A spirit longing for a place
Where it belongs,
But never finds.

I dance with hope,
Chasing echoes of a chance
That slips just out of reach,
My heart calling for a world
That no longer exists,
A soul forever out of time.
Dreams can only be dreams
