I loath the part of me,
that cannot intercede,
with the part of you-
that has no need
for me.
Again, this was such a hard time for me. I learned so much though, that has helped me grow and stretch as a person. I am not a pushover any more and have become assertive. I understand that love fades sometimes and that holding on tighter makes it all the worse. It's best to take the lessons you've learned from that person and move forward.

You do not dare touch me
You do not dare eat me
You do not dare seek me
I am but a mushroom in a great forest
although i seem fine
the life i live is a lie
for im dead inside
thought id try something different
feedback on this poem would be great
i hope you like it
do you see me
from the trees the grow above me
that grow out to the vineyards
across the dirt-risen floor
yearning for the sunlight
to love once again
as I dwell on thoughts
coasting along the river
confessing out loud
to the dried sunflowers
and the ultralight beams
walking on water with
the thorns on my feet
calling out to heavens above.
