I am Dr. Jekyll but I have a Miss. Hyde,
Miss. Hyde i struggle each day & try to hide,
It’s a constant battle, a constant war,
I feel it want to crawl out from my core

I wear my masks, the faces of happy & bright,
To hide the bitter inner struggle, out of sight,
Long ago due to pride, my soul I would sell,
I feel Miss. Hyde waiting & wanting to break-free & rebel.

Miss. Hyde, in the mirror I see its sinister grin,
A creature born from a prideful sin,
Lurking, I know what it wants, I know it’s biding its time,
Watching & waiting for a moment of weakness to climb.

It comes with a malicious voice, it starts to speak,
When night falls, I cannot let sloth take over & be weak,
Miss. Hyde whispers, its urges to be let out is strong,
Filled with greedy wants it knows is wrong.

But i resist & i fight to keep it in its cage,
Miss. Hyde hates it with a wrathful rage,
I lock it up, i hide the creature deep,
But its gluttony is overflowing & can seep.

My freedom it may envy, but it will never see the light,
So let Miss. Hyde’s madness shout, claw & bite,
I will tame the beast, as I alone hold the key,
To keep Miss. Hyde from running free.

In the depths of my despair, it lingers there,
Miss. Hyde’s lustful wants are hard to bear,
But i choose to be good & do what is right,
Even if for the rest of my life I must fight.

And I may have sold my soul,
Miss. Hyde may try to take control,
But i battle on & will never yield,
I still know right from wrong, that is my shield.

So i will strive & no sin will i abide,
Though Miss. Hyde may reside inside,
And the creature may try to get into my head,
I’ll tame the beast & never will I allow it to be fed.
I did something fun in this poem, lets see if you can figure it out, let me know if you know what it is or need a clue, Enjoy.
I am here, but I am not
I am numb, yet I can feel
I am blind, but I can see
I am deaf, yet I can hear
I am paralysed, but I can walk
I am alive, yet I am not living
I can talk, but I don’t say a word.
For those that are bound
In Japan there was a girl named Hanna Mori
And this is her legend, her story
It was said that Hanna was the beauty of Japan
When a rich & well respected gentleman came for her hand
She was given in marriage though she was a young age
But Hanna has always felt like a pretty bird in a cage
Her husband was a samurai
He was emotionless guy
He wouldn’t even say or give her a kiss goodbye
Since he worked all day and sometimes all night
Hanna would sit in the balcony to bathe in the moons light
As the stars twinkled so bright
She wondered if she will ever be happy
Then chided herself for being sappy
A few months passed, the routine the same
Then one day, the new neighbours came
Introducing themselves & son, as soon as their eyes met, Hanna was aflame
This brought her great shame
Even though the boy was 17, only 4 years younger than her
She could not give in to the lust, though her heart did stir
When one day she received a love letter
Saying she deserved better
Foolishly she replied & it sparked the secret affair
At first she did resist
But could not do so after they first kissed
He would come over in the guise of working in the garden
Hanna knew if her husband found out, there will be no pardon
The punishment would be swift
But she thought it would be worth it for love is a gift
Then the day came, her husband came home due to a cancelled flight
And came home to the sight
Of his wife preparing herself for her lover
Hanna dove for cover
But after he bullied her into a confession, he dragged her naked to the neighbours house
There the lover was as quiet as a mouse
The parents brought him out & he said she forced him to do it
Hanna was crushed, it was a hard hit
As he went on about her being a ****** predator
This, from the boy she loved and couldn’t help but adore
Her husband dragged her back home & threw her on the bed
“You will pay for this, not now but for all eternity!” he said
But Hanna didn’t care
She is punished already with a broken heart she cannot bear
Her husband grabbed his samurai sword
Put it in her mouth & claimed it was her punishment & reward
He sliced her mouth open, on both sides, all the way up to her ears
He declared that she will forever be the thing that everyone fears
That she will forever in the shadow roam
Never finding her lover, peace or home
But lurk in the shadows for all of time
That is her punishment for her shameful crime
With no help she bled and died
And her husband later committed suicide
The legend goes that in shadows she must hide
She wears a surgical mask & approaches a lone stranger
The victim is drawn in by her beauty, unaware of danger
She asks “Am I pretty?”  And once they replied in a positive way
She takes off her mask, exposing her wounds & asked the same question of her prey
Anyone who no longer found her pretty, she will slay
So if a person approaches you with a mask, beware of what you say!

Never again will I let anyone make me feel small,
And when I hit it, believe me I will break that wall.
Never again will I fall for any manipulation,
I will call anyone out in front of everyone without hesitation.

Never again will I let anyone make me feel inconsequential,
I am worthy of more as I am full of potential.
Never again will I allow myself to be used nor suffer abuse,
I am a bomb ready to explode, believe me don’t light the fuse.

Never again will I blindly believe, I now proceed with care,
I will not allow myself to be caught in lies that try to ensnare.
Never again will I give my trust easily, I will take it slow,
Actions speak louder than words, this I now know.

Never again will I be treated like sht or stabbed in the back,
You hit me, watch out not even google will find you when I give you a whack.
Never again will I let my mental illness nor trauma make me an easy prey, I am born anew,
No longer am I that naïve girl, I am now wiser & stronger, take me on…I f
cking dare you.
This is just meant to be empowering for those that have gone through these things too.
Two brothers, one quest
Killing monsters is what they do best
Down this path since they were young
Sams quick wit & Deans suave tongue
Heaven, hell and everything in between
Nothing like you’ve ever seen
Sam thinks he is smart, Dean thinks he is a stud
Idjits, Family don’t end with blood
Battling creatures that prey in the night
It’s a truly gruesome sight
From angels to zombies they get the job done
Each one a brave and a loyal son
Father is a hunter, husband, father & a tortured man
For his family, he does all he can
Trying to save each other & others from damnation
They are our only hope for salvation
As they impersonate officers of the law
Fake badges, they come to your door
Dean with his car
Sam with his scar
Bobby is their second dad
His back story, like the boys, is just as sad
Castiel at first is uptight but soon he will see
That all have the right and should be free
When cast down he is stuck in a rut
Then joins the fight calling Michael an ***-****
Crowly the funny guy who rules hell
Hello boys do you have a soul to sell
Sam makes you feel, Dean makes you smirk
Sam the b*tch, Dean the ****
The journey is long, full of sorrow & pain
Enough to drive the sanest person insane
But through it all, they have each other
Each sacrificing all for his brother
No truer bond can be broken down
As they help those in need from town to town
Having to solve a ****** in time, they never back down
Heavens & hells war, they are stuck in the middle
They have been to hell and back
Always something lurking, waiting to attack
Two brothers, one quest
Killing monsters is what they do best!
Based Of the TV Show Series
Blood oozes down the wall
Or if you find a large puddle of it on the floor
When your kid vomits green & their head spins right around
Or when they levitate above their bed & you can’t get them down
In your dreams, creepy girls sing disturbing rhymes
Or you wake up with deep cuts from a guy with finger knives
Toothless, *****, rednecks look at you with glee
Or when you walk into a house and it tells you to leave
At camp the young, half-naked counsellors turn up dead
Or worse without their head
When the scary tree outside your window tries to eat you
And the closet eats your sister too
Or when her new best friend is the beast
Also coffins start popping up, expelling the deceased
A shark isn’t looking for food anymore, just to ****
Or when its friends seek revenge on your family, people don't believe you & think you’re mentally ill
You’re vulnerable in space, thinking you’re blessed to be on this quest
And suddenly get these aliens that rip through your chest
You see a big guy with a chainsaw and wearing someone else’s face
Or worse makes a full skin body one to wear, seriously what a nutcase
What to do when you know you’re in trouble
Grab a gun, crucifix and holy water in a double
Skip the country and pray you’ll survive
But know deep down inside you may very well die.

Six teenager girls were in a basement, having a sleepover night
All was dark expect for the girl telling a scary story with the flashlight
When it was Bridget’s turn
With a face grim and stern
Told the story of ****** Mary
The others became wary
As she told how Mary had an admirer, her best friend’s dad
She was very young and he had thoughts, fantasies that were bad
Over the years his lust for her had grown
He tried to take advantage one day when she was home alone
She heard ringing, so went to answer the phone
Mr Borne hit the back of her head; Mary fell & began to groan
When she saw his murderous sneer & though it gave Mary a fright
Mary tried her hardest to fight
When her parents got home it was to a horrific sight
She was found beside the full length mirror, her lifeless eyes staring into it
And from the inside was a large split
In her own blood, she had written the initial B
Her watched had stopped in the afternoon, at exactly three
They say her spirit is in all mirrors, forever trapped but can be mainly seen at night
If you say her name in a mirror, three times & with only one candle for light
Mary will be awaken
And your life will be taken
As long as her soul remains unhealed
Do the ritual and your fate will be sealed.
Later, after playing with each others hair
The girls decided to play truth or dare
Natalie chose dare with fear
And Sandra gave a mischievous sneer
Being mean, with Sandra was habitual
She dared Natalie to do the ****** Mary ritual
She had to do it or be called chicken
Into the bathroom, her heart starts to quicken
She lights the candle, as the others close the door
Her feet are cold from the tile floor
The candle flickers as she breathes in deep
Beginning to silently weep
She called Mary's name into the mirror, three times
All Natalie could hear was the outside chimes
Then her candle blew out
And Natalie gave a desperate shout
The other girls just started laughing, locking her in
Natalie stopped shouting, feeling a chill all over her skin
She looked into the mirror; there was a girl with a sinister grin
Blood was dripping down the walls, the bathtub filling up with it too
Natalie’s worst fears grew
As the girl came out of the mirror & on to the counter top
Natalie begged her to stop
But Mary was burning with violence
She walked up to her and then there was silence
When the others opened the door it was to a grisly scene
Natalie’s face was so distorted, like nothing anyone has ever seen
Horribly scared, especially the girls, was everyone involved
It will remain forever a case unsolved!
